I continually receive calls from this number.  have no idea who it is.  All I know is that it is from Portland Oregon.  I have no business or personal relations with anyone in Oregon.  They never leave a message and I refuse to answer their calls.  They can get my machine if they want.

I get this call ALL the time! WTF. I put it on my blocked caller list. They NEVER leave a message and only let the phone ring 3 times. Weird!

This company has been calling my house a lot lately, so today I finally answered.  The recording stated that they were a marketing & research company and wanted to know if I was interested in becoming a taste tester in my area.  

I hung up.

Let's hope they don't call again!

I received a call from this number today. I have no idea who it is.  All I know is that it is from Portland Oregon.   They let the phone ring 3 times. I've gotten to the point I don't answer any call unless I know who is calling!

I just received a call from this number, since I didn't know the number I didn't answer let the machine get it.  As the machine was answering the call, a female caller was on the line saying my name and then hung up.  Didn't leave a message also.  I also don' know anyone in Oregon.

don't know who this was, but when I answered she said she was from some marketing company (didn't catch the name) I told her we don't accept random calls like that at home and to remove my name from her list.  Her response was they don't have a list, our number is selected randomly.  I told her I was not interested and her response was "well, do you know WHY we are calling?"  I told her I didn't care why and to please not call back.
We'll see if that works...... I dunno

We received a call from Portland OR also.  My husband listened to the lady.  She was proposing that for every unsolicited credit card offer we receive in the mail, after blacking out our personal information, send them to "them".  They would give us money for each one we send.  After my husband relayed her message to me, I immediately said to tell her "NO".  I work with the police department and I also work with senior citizens.  This is most likely a scam.  How would they pay us - by a credit to our credit card, or a direct deposit to our bank accounts?  Either way, they get personal information that would easily enable them to steal from us.

Returned the call from the callerID. Pressed 0 to get an operator, told her I didn't want any more solisitation phone calls. She asked me if my number was: ---, I said yes and she told me she would forward the message to someone and make sure it gotten taken off their list. I explained to her that I am on the National Do Not Call List. She told me she was surprised I got the call.

Got a call from this number tonight...black woman asked to speak to "male head of household" I told her he was not available and could I take a message.  She said "No, no message."  I told her "Don't call back."  She laughed and repeated what I said in a laughing tone, "don't call back."  As in "right!...of course I'll call back."  BEWARE.

This is a real market research company, MDC, and they really do pay for focus groups. I made $50 for trying ice cream, and am going in next week to eat some fast food thing and I'll get $25. They do others some of which pay up to $100. They are located in SW Portland, and they're pretty nice. You get paid cash when you go in, for the taste tests; for the mail studies mentioned above they send you a check.

I don't get it. The phone company has to know where this phone number is. Why doesn't the State Government of Oregon do something about this. I believe in privacy rights, but when a company starts to invade my privacy, that's where their rights end. They should be shut down permanently and pay the fine for every number they have called on the do not call list, including my own. Hello, Oregon, anybody there!!

This is an official complaint.  They have just started calling and I have no clue why..............I want this reported to the BBB.  In fact, I just reported this to the BBB in our area.

If anyone can find out who is calling you can sue them in small claims court. An attorney explains, http://www.panix.com/~eck/telemarket.html, how  this person went about it. It's illegal for telemarketers to call. Once you've reported them to the FCC, you can go after the caller for $$$ and make sure you add your costs. The trouble will be serving them papers, but if you're tired, sick and tired as I am, you'll do it. So if anyone can find out the company name and address we can all jump in and take them to small claims court... sooner or later they will stop calling. I spoke to an attorney, who handles junk faxes (got the number from the link above), and was given this valuable info; sue them once you find out who they are.

I too got one of these phone calls last night.  I called today and told them I wanted to be off of their calling list.  The receptionist was polite and said I would be removed immediately.

The have called twice in 2 days, the first time I picked up they claimed they were doing a marketing analysis for our local gas company. I am call the "Do Not Call List'....The second time they got my machine and did not leave a message.
