Automated political call.  

Political call for bill Cassidy. The woman left a message on machine.

I do not answer unfamiliar numbers or political calls. Started calling at 4:50 pm and called continuously, by 5:00 had called over twelve times. I had to turn off ringer. They stopped calling at 5:pm, for now.

Received a call at 10:38a, caller said "Oh excuse me sir, I must have the wrong number." Weird.

Called my number, asked who I would be voting for. My response "I don't disclose that information" was met with a hang-up. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a Cassidy support request call. Disgusting.

Called at 3:50 PM today.  I let it go to the answering machine, but no message.

Asked for my husband by name.  I said he wasn't here, could I take a message?  and he hung up on me!

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also.

Charities, along with some Survey's and Political calls, are exempt from the DNC, however, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards.  Some states have different laws in regards to the calls,  which can differ from the federal.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or less. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Isn't it great.....politicians can exempt themselves from their own rules.  They should be on the top-tier of calls not allowed.
