- Switchboard| 2 repliesMan with an accent has called twice so far, wanting to speak with anyone he can get his hands on before sending them a report. I told him that is considered a solicitation and transferred him to a recording that explains how to introduce your company. There's always a new scammer waiting around the corner.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JasonCalled me today. Did not leave a message.
- DJMan with heavy accent has called repeatedly and changes the name of his "company" frequently.
Lately, he is either from Research Solutions, Cisco or Dell. This is obviously some sort of scam artist! Beware!- Caller: Cisco, Dell, Research Solutions
- JayI got a call saying he was from FedEx and had a package for me and needed to confirm my work address. Since its work and not personal, I wasn't a secure as I usually am and did not hang up on him but I did find it quite odd. I called the number back and it's fast busy signal. Must be a scam.
- Caller: Fedex
- Front DeskSays his name Rashan calling on behalf of Micro Soft. Said he spoke to our employee on Ebay. Has information he needs to give the person he was asking for who supposedly works in IT which is not true. There's a new scam devised every second. Definitely a scammer!!!

- BSCI receive a call from this number about twenty times over the last several months. Every time they want to confirm my email address to send me a white paper. They claim to work for Ziff-Davis. I tell them to never call me again, but of course they continue to call.
I'm assuming it is some kind of scam, but I can figure out why anyone would want to get an email over a phone call. Isn't it cheaper just to spam email people?- Caller: Ziff Davis
- ShadowMan called, asking for an employee by name. When asked who he was, just kept asking for that employee. After the third try to get his name/company I just said goodbye and disconnected him.

- OscarMan with an forign accent called. He called my work number. Stated my name and hung up. The first call I was not available. About 5 minutes later, he called again.
Scam - TracyReceive several of these calls per week. Today the heavy accented voice said he was with Marketing Intelligence and he wanted me to use my global directory (we have one) to look someone up. First of all I'm not 411, find your own number. 2nd of all stop wasting my time every week. I always just tell them I'm unable to locate the person they ask about. They usually ask for some person in IT. If it were a legitimate business call they would have the right number or at least the right office. We have no IT department at my office and never have had. Probably a sales call of some kind. They will never get information out of me.
- Caller: Marketing Intelligence
- JeanA guy called, and knew my name, and then wanted to know if I was a network administrator, but he couldn't pronounce administrator. I confirmed, stupidly. Then he said thanks, good bye.
