I answered - no response, no sound at all.

I answered the phone and said my spiel and then there was a break before a busy sounding call center came after a beep and a robotic sounding woman said "it's a financial matter, I need to speak with the owner, is that you?" I said no and the caller hung up. So weird. The way she started talking was like we were in the middle of a conversation

Woman caller asks to speak to owner. I say, 'who is this?' and she answers, "Emily Reed. Is the owner available?" I ask what this is regarding and she hangs up.

Her:  "Are you the owner?"
Me:  "Who is this?"
Her:  "Are you the owner?"
Me:  "Who is this?"
Her:  "Ha ha ha ha"
Then she hung up...

Calls repeatedly,  but does not leave any messages.       CID says  "Albuquerque  NM"           Probable scam.

Just got this one.  Answered - there was a click and a weird mechanical sound and then a woman answered sounding unsure of herself and said "Is the owner around?".  I didn't even respond.  I hung up on her.

another version - she says  'is the owner around?'  OK, I have a few pounds extra but I am NOT round.  not rotund yet either! Slightly plump, ok! Sheesh robocal with its 'human' assistant is trying to drive us over the edge...

Her- Are you the owner?
Me- Indeed I am, who is this?
Her- Hangs up

These idiots called twice, so the second time I had to mess with them...when the phone rang I saw the same number, answered it and the lady asked for the owner, I told her I could not talk right now because I was cutting up a dead body, I then asked her what was the best way to get blood out of a carpet....she hung up....laugh my ass off.

Got call... heard the typical lag in response when the phone is adjusting to you answering. Emily Reed said she needed to speak with the owner. I asked in what regard, she answered a financial matter, are you the owner... I said I am and she continued how she understands I am really busy and that she will keep it short... I kept it short and hung up right there.

Caller ID shows up as a NY number 646-307-1746, but then the message starts playing: Is this the business owner? I answered No, and she says: "This is Emily, at 505-300-1755, did you get that?" I said no, that was too quick. And I asked her to repeat. And she says, "This is Emily at 505-300-1755" and when I asked what message I should pass, she says, "it is about working capital for your business" and hangs up.
When I tried to call the number she left, it does not go through.

The number called and a woman claimed"Emily" and demanded to speak with business owner for financial growth opportunity.

This person called and ask to speak to the owner, and I asked if I could take a message and she gave me her name and number, and then just started laughing maniacally? I hope she's okay!?!

I almost answered this call since I know several people from NM (505 area code).  Glad I ignored the call after seeing it was a spam call.  Their number is now blocked.

Just got this call on my cell phone. Didn't answer because I had a feeling it was a scam.

I answerd but he or she was not talking

recieved a call, answered, said hello, the phone clicked and hung up.

The recorded message talked about the NM firefighters association donations. They wanted a credit card number. Yeah, NO!
