I got a call from this number - having known it was a collection agency, I send it right to voicemail - a person identifying themselves as Shawn Thomas of The Alliance Group informed me in a message that they had a pending action against me - blah, blah - and that if I did not return his call with the case number left, it would be an 'admission of guilt.'  I did a Google using his name with The Alliance Group and was shocked to read all the complaints about this fictitious person and their collection behavior.  What a creep!
