I forwarded the email to my company demonstrator support. It was a suspicious email asking to order products and for me to text back. Suspicious because if she found me online, orders can easily be placed online.  Especially if someone is not local..this would have been the way to order..not by emailing me directly.

How Horrible. scum bag. I too have been emailing this person Carla Baker. Same story, fed ex, mailing a certified check. This person also told me she was unable to place a credit card order because of her business... strange. I also called and reported it to Stampin' Up!

the things that she ends up wanting to order, after she says she is new to stamping are odd and wouldn't make a lot of sense for someone who is starting out.
here is the first email she sent me. I am embarrassed to say that i wasn't suspicious at first and have exchanged four emails with this person before things didn't add up to me. I just know my situation financially would be devastated had i fallen for this and i dont want anyone else to go through that.

    following is this first email:

    Hello,

I saw that you're a consultant will be happy if I could purchase those products through you. Please get back to me as soon as possible through my email carla.baker@live.com. you can text me on  (505) 886-5908.

I received the same email saying the same as above at 8:15 tonight.  I was suspicious, so I emailed her back, but then investigated further by looking up her phone number online.  I was pretty sure it was a scam due to the broken English, and the fact that people don't usually end a letter with "waiting in anticipation".  Beware of any further letters like this.  I also received one from my Arbonne business, and it stated the same thing except that they wanted to purchase about $350 in products, and told me that after they received it, they would send the money.  I knew it was a scam, so I just deleted the email.  Be careful if you have a home business. I think they look for consultants/demonstrators online, and try to scam you out of products!

I got the same email and thought it strange, but responded to the first one.  I had emailed SU and am awaiting a reply, but thought I'd google the number and name.  It led me to this.  Now I know I won't be ordering anything for this Carla Baker!  So glad I didn't fall for this scam.

Yep, I got the email too.  Sorry to say, I was also excited for a new customer but when I looked up the area code noticed it was out of state.  I thought, maybe she winters down there or something.  On a hunch, decided to google the phone number and got to this.  Thanks all for sharing, I am greatly appreciative.  And glad for the heads up!!
Does SU have a specific email address I should forward this too?  Does anyone know?   I know for situations such as this sometimes they have spam@whatever.com or something.  I feel so naïve for not looking up the phone number FIRST!!!!!  :(  The email I got was from nancypeterson02@live.com or something like that.
    Have a great evening!
