Lower interest rates. Interesting that many, maybe all, people on this page asking/talking about these calls are Verizon customers!

I got a call from this number a couple of minutes ago.  The pre-recorded message said that I qualified to lower my interest rates, if I was Interested press "1."  A couple minutes after I pressed "1" an opperator picked up and asked if I was waiting regarding lowering my interest rates. When I refused to give her any personal information untill she told me what company she was calling for she replied " A company that works with major credit card companies"  when she said why I qualified and I knew I didn't meet the criteria I again asked what company  she was calling for.  She again asked if I was interested, and I said I wanted To make sure the company was legitimate.  She asked how much credit card debt I had, I replied " A few thousand.  What Company do you work for?" She quickly replied "Oh, if you have less than four thousand dollars in debt you don't qualify, have a nice day."  Then she hung up.

I just received a call from this number and a recording said consider this as a warning that your credit card interest is going to increase, press one to talk to an operator so I did and I was put on hold. After couple of minutes I got tired of waiting and hung up.  Now I know not to answer it again.

I just got a call from this number for the warrenty scam.  I asked if they could send information to my email. They said they didn't have that.  Then they stated they would send information to my address.  I asked them to verify my address (I have moved alot).  They hung up on me.  I say report this to everyone, FBI, FCC, whatever.  AND I am on the do not call already!  Have been for years.

I got this call to I didn't answer it but I thought it was alittle weird. I looked on here and I'm taking the advice I have read. So crazy how many people scam you! Or try!

i got the auto warranty message and pressed 1 to give these people a piece of my mind.
amidst yelling ("pick up the g-d phone!) a guy tried to give me a schpiel. i  interrupted with "what company is this?" and he hung up.

I just got a call from this number 7:39 pm. I'm glad I didn't answer it! I hate freakin scammers!!

Have received calls from this phone number.  When answering the call, it is obviously a solitication that is unwanted and unrequested.  I am not even sure how they obtained it.  Please encourage them to cease unwanted solitications.

I received a call on my cell phone from 506-222-10470 on May 22 at 9:00 pm EST.  The first time I hung up, because it was a recording about my vehicle's warranty.  The phone rang again with the same number calling.  My husband grabbed my phone, pressed 1 and demanded to know how they got out number because we are on the do not call list.  The person calling said he was trying to make a buck and refused to removed our name from the list unless we said "please". He said he was calling from Miami.  He then got argumentative and said he was coming to our house and he knew we lived in New Jersey.  It was very disturbing.  I called Verizon Wireless and they said the only thing they could do was issue a new phone number.  This is unbelieveable!

THis call said my car warranty was about to expire and I needed to renew it. When I told them they were violating the do not call law, they hung up abruptly.

Automated message on my cell phone came from this # indicating auto warranty ws abot to expire.  It said press one to talk to somebody......I did, and I fired off a number of explextves to them (including the f-bomb).

I reported call a couple of days ago and have read the increasing list of people targeted since.  One thing, I do not have Verizon.  A previous writer suggested that calls seemed to be Vereizon customers.  My cell was Cingular/ now ATT.  So that theory is not correct!

Have gotten calls from them several times.  Says that my credit card rates are about to go up!  (I don't have credit cards)  Once, I went ahead and let them come in on the line, and told them I don't want them calling anymore. They claim that I asked for the call.

I thought it was Jesus calling.  I was too nervous to pick up though.

506-222-1047(0). Vehicle warranty call...I have no vehicle under warranty, so I know this is a scam. How do I get them to stop calling?? Can I block this number?

I got a call from this number at dinner time, they left a message with only breathing. Creeps me out.

Not only did I get a call from them a few days ago. I got one just now from 50622880759. Same scammers I guess. This getting ridiculous!

Well, just got off the phone with Verizon, lady said it was the first she had heard of it. I said ask your co-workers and she said they haven't had any complaints about these strange numbers

+506-222-10470 came up on my cell phone 5/22/2008 2:55pm as no name.  I did not answer it because I do not know anyone from that phone number.  I do not appreciate or want calls that are unknown or no name.  If a caller can't show their name, they do not deserve to be answered.
