506-222-1047

I received a call from this number, also.  When I looked up the number online it says the area code (506) is from NB, Canada.

I have had a few calls from

and
506-222-1047 0

Very strange. I haven't answered yet because of the extra digit

Pre-recorded computer message about my options for a lower card rate expiring (have gotten these dozens of times in the past).  Had a hispanic sounding female answer after I pressed '1'.  When I told her to permanently take this number off his list, she responded "yeah well I'll try" and hung up on me.

It has called me several times and I pressed the #2 and it took me off the call list

Don't report to the FCC...they only care about telemarketers calling if you're on the "Do Not Call" list.

I've received 2 recorded phone calls this evening - one 506-220-93470 amd 506-227-35639.  First clue they were bogus is there's too many digits.  First was that I had won a free cruise and the second was to lower credit card debt.  Obviously registering the do not call doesn't work with overseas phone calls.

Just got a call from 506-223-73174.  Asked me if I wanted to lower my interest rates.  I asked where they were calling from and he said Boulder, CO and then hung up.

I received a call from 506-222-0844.  I was not at home but it showed up on my caller ID. No messages was left but when I used my unlimited long distance to call it back, a prerecorded message said it was an "unassigned number and not operational. I should check the number and try again.  The taped message was repeated once in English and once in French so I believe it did originate in Canada.
      IO think this scam operation must have several numbers with the 506-222-0844.  I am in Maine.  How far across the US is this scam being tried?  Are we all from Maine?

I received a call from a similar number. Just for clarity, the +506 international call resolves to Costa Rica. The fact that it's 8 digits isn't bogus. They switched to an 8 digit number system this year. But yes, they are scams.

Getting calls weekly from this and related numbers - all with 1 too many digits.  Usually some sort of credit card phishing attempt.

I received a call from 50622005468 on my cell

I am getting calls daily from these people for the last month.  Vehicle warranty and loans.  The number changes each time they call me (not the area code).  I pressed one this time and talked to a live person.  No accent, so I assumed not from out of the country.  I advised her that it was illegal to be calling cell phones via robo dialer and to take my name off the list.  Alltel will do nothing - suggested I go on-line and see what I can find.  I have pressed 2 repeatedly on these calls and only got more of them.  They are like spam, I think once you answer one, they know they have a live #.  I don't give out my cell # online or for any other info.

My spam phone call today from new brunswick was 506-224-50246 per caller ID. Yup, same extra digit. No, I wasn't going to pay to answer it, since I don't know anyone in New Brunswick. I wonder if scammers call from Canada thinking the do not call registry only applies to calls from the US?

I got a call on my cell phone from 506-221-17358 to many digits for a US number anyone else get this?

Didn't pick up but have received a call from that number before and it was a prerecorded message asking me to hold for an operator
