I,also, received a call from this number.  However I was not able to answer it at the time it was made.  I did not recognize the area code or number and chose to do a search. So I will block this number from my call list.

I answered a call from this number and it is a recording that says that my vehicle is running out of it's warranty and to press one for further info.  The first time I just hung up (I have no vehicles with warranties of any kind) but the second time I pressed the one and it just disconnected me.  I'm waiting for the sales call now from a salesmans...probably collecting numbers of people who press the one.  Will update if I get another call....

Got the call too.  Best thing to do is go to www.fcc.gov and file an online complaint.  The more info they have (I've talked with my local office about this before, with the credit card people who have called about 'lowering your rates') the more they can try to find these morons.  Also, call your wireless company and tell them about it.  Chances are, they'll be more than happy to credit you some minutes.  I used to work for Verizon wireless, and we were more than happy to help with minute credits.  They can even probably look in your account and see that you got the call, even though, by law, they can't tell you they can see it, unless you have a subpoena.

Oh yeah - I did mean to type the extra '0' at the end.  That's what came across on my phones call id screen.  Lovely, huh?

Got the call and did'nt push any numbers. Called verizon and talked to someone that could care less. Actuly said we did'nt make the call so call the Government. Registered a complaint at "do not call" for all the good it will do as it not a valid number. to many numbers

I had a voice mail left by this number with the 0 at the end of it.  But nothing came across on the voice mail.  I did not return it.  I went to google and asked where is area code 506 and it said it was in the  Canadian province of New Brunswick.  Don't know anyone there!  I'm not calling back.

i just got the call at 11:03 am central time.  I'm in wisc.  No vmail.  tried to call the number on diff phone and its busy.  weird that we are all getting this phone number

sounds like a scam to me. use the old rule of thumb " if you
don't recognize the number, don't answer it ".

I got a call from this number at 10:06 on May, 20th. it offered reduction of the interest ration of my Master card with 6%. After switching to the "Life operator" who verified the phone number the call disconnected. The call was listed as from New Brunswick.

Same story, didn't have time to pick up before my cell lost signal.  I like this board, good quick info.  Thanks everyone.

Just got a call at my work phone number. This organization is "Card Services" and is well known for being scammers. The caller ID is almost certainly spoofed (other times they've called, I've tried dialing the number from caller ID and it's out of service; others report the same experience).

Just received a call from this number as well at 11:00 a.m. MST.  The number displayed across my iPhone and I didn't recognize it so I didn't answer.  Just like a responder earlier I googled the area code and it comes up as New Brunswick.  The 222 portion of the number appears to be out of St. George.

This apprently is not just affecting Verizon users I presume as I have AT&T.

Got a call.. went to voice mail... wanted to lower my interest rate. Its a scam......

Just received this call as well (11:22MST).  Like many others, didn't answer since I don't recognize the number.  The voice mail indicated renewing auto warranty and to press 9 to be removed from list.
