Got 506-222-10470 as a missed call Googled it found this site the call seems to originate from new brunswick. beware

I've had several calls from this number and was told by the phone company that it is in Costa Rica and NOT TO CALL BACK.  First of all, you will be charged high rates for international calling and they don't know if it is a dial-a-call that charges you so much money (i.e. $100 / min) for each minute you are on the line trying to get a hold of sombody to complain about all the calls.  If you have caller ID, don't answer it.  If you don't, hang up on it.  It said something to do w/ vehicle warrenty expirations.

Received a call on my cell phone from 506-222-10470, an 11 digit vs. 10 digit number.  The recorded message was about credit card offer and to hurry, time running out, etc.  I filed a complaint with the FCC.  Please --- if you receive a call from this number, take the time to file a complaint with the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm  The more that file, the better.

i got a call from this number too, similar to what everyone else is saying. prerecorded message that warns you about something or gives you an offer, does not identify the caller and asks you to press 1 to talk to someone. i also got 2 similar calls, 1 from an unknown number and another from +442074121069. this group seems to route their calls through foreign numbers. i sent an FCC complaint but i don't know what else we can do, maybe if we complain to our cell carriers enough they will ask the government to do something

I have been looking into this matter every since my husband recieved one of these calls at work and was unable to answer.

This number IS A SCAM, so beware of giving ANY personal information. It is best to ignore the call and report it immediately!

This number came on my cell but did not answer it.

I receved a call from 50622210470 and didn't answer. This is a first time with this number and also a number I didn't recognize. It was one too many digits too long. They didn't leave a message.

I got a call from them too on my cell phone today -- 01150622210470.  I didn't answer because 011 is international and it was to many digits.  No message left.   I am on the Do Not Call Registry.

Didn't answer it - but now I will and give them the run around.

I just had a call on my cell phone from 506-222-10470.  I did not answer it since I was on another call and they did not leave a voice mail.  Same as many, I googled it and came up with New Brunswick.  Very very odd.  I would guess it is some type of huge scam.

My cell phone just rang, the number showed as 506-222-10470. No one talked when I said hello, the call lasted 7 seconds. There was no name of ID, just the number.

Lower interest rates. Interesting that many, maybe all, people on this page asking/talking about these calls are Verizon customers!

I got a call from this number a couple of minutes ago.  The pre-recorded message said that I qualified to lower my interest rates, if I was Interested press "1."  A couple minutes after I pressed "1" an opperator picked up and asked if I was waiting regarding lowering my interest rates. When I refused to give her any personal information untill she told me what company she was calling for she replied " A company that works with major credit card companies"  when she said why I qualified and I knew I didn't meet the criteria I again asked what company  she was calling for.  She again asked if I was interested, and I said I wanted To make sure the company was legitimate.  She asked how much credit card debt I had, I replied " A few thousand.  What Company do you work for?" She quickly replied "Oh, if you have less than four thousand dollars in debt you don't qualify, have a nice day."  Then she hung up.
