number had a 2 on the end left message on my cell about interest free financing?? so much for the do not call list

number had a 2 at the end and a plus sign at the beginning before the 506. Did not leave voice mail, but when i tried to call back it said this number is not taking calls in this country at this time?? WHAT IS THIS?

i just recieved this call also, 15 minutes ago

Just got this call at 1230pm EST.  506-226-72662.
called back from work phone and message said my call did not go through.
sounds like some canadian foolery [***].

I just got a call from this number and looked it up while it was ringing...obviously some Canadian telemarketing

I just got a call from them too.  I answered and it was a telemarketing call about extending the warranty on my car.  This struck me as odd as my car is a 1991 with 170,000 miles on it and had been out of warranty for over 10 years.  The woman who finally came on the line said that her records indicate that they had received notice that my car qualifies for an extended warranty.  I asked her which car she was referring to and she said that for security purposes she could not pull that up, but that if I gave her my VIN (Vehicle ID Number) she could pull up my record and transfer me to a "Warranty Specialist".  When I said that I did not feel comfortable giving my VIN over the phone but that I could give her the make/model/year of my car and if they could explain to me what coverage they'd give me on it, then I would give them the VIN if I decided to move forward with this and they could verify I was giving them the proper information.  She said Thank you sir, have a nice day, good bye, and hung up on me.
 I cannot figure out what good a VIN would do anybody (for scam purposes), or if that's just the hook to then get more info out of me.  Do people really fall for these ploys?

Got the same call about the warranty....answered heard the message and hung up....so the do not call list doesn't work on international calls???

Received 2 calls from +50622672662 while I was in the movie theatre.  Tried to call back, but phone says to check call restrictions...

my call said...'you have a call from ******' and it stated my name!

I just got a call also.  They didn't leave a voice mail though.

Got a call too, didn't answer, no message... 1:50pm and I'm in Arizona.Was the number but with the "2" on the end.
