Called at 6:45P (EST) yesterday; no message left.

I don't answer.  It is to my Fax. Serves them right

They said my auto warranty was expiring.  When I let the call through, they immediately asked for the make and model of my vehicle.  They don't even pretend to actually know what vehicle they were saying has an expired warranty.  I kept them on the line long enough to make for a decent trace of the line and their deal is that you have to give them a credit card number before they will send you their auto warranty policy because, as they said, it is illegal to send anyone an auto warranty policy without a down payment.  What is interesting is that this story is so unbelievable (someone with an untraceable number asking for your credit card number and all you know about them is that they correctly guessed that you owned a car that is out of warranty), yet someone has to be falling for this otherwise they would find some other scam.

Received a call from them about 3 minutes ago. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the area code. They didn't leave a message.

Just got a call. When I got through to an agent, he asked me for the make and model of my car. I told him, "you tell me." he hung up.

The number appeared as 00-227-4561.  I did not answer.  Annoying.

Thank you to all who have posted here. Call came in at 9:57 a.m. on March 3, 2009. No message this time, but in the past caller has left message to call back about car out of warranty.

got a recorded message telling me I COULD win cruise for 3 people.  I should push 9 to accept this prize or 8 to be removed from their list.  I chose the hang up option.

I called the number and received a message saying "this number is not assigned at the moment."

got a call on my home and cell...no message

Initially a prerecorded call claiming to be my last opportunity to lower my interest rates.  I pressed 1, got a live person, asked what the company was, he said "Card Services" and asked if I have a Visa or Mastercard.  I said I am on the do not call list, DO NOT CALL ME.  To which he said, "then what you have to do is press 2" and when I said I just don't want the calls, he hung up.

They left message saying warranty would be 'reclassified'..what the heck is that? ignore them.

This idiot woman from a "Credit Card Services" called offering to lower my credit card rates, among them a mastercard which I don't have. So I kept digging and basically came to a quick conclusion that this is a scam. I told them to take me off of their phone list to which the woman said no. I got into it with her. I hope I don't get more calls as I threatened to report them. So, everyone beware of this very dangerous scam. They've been calling for weeks at odd hours and it wasn't until today that I actually talked to a rep after pressing one. When I tried to call back the (506) 220-4568 number, a recording told me in English and in French that the number was unassigned. This may be the Canadian company that others are referencing. Please beware!

When confronted they hung up!!!
