Who is this and why are they dialing my number?

i did not pick up the phone. there was no message on the answering machine.
who would it be?

Just received a call.   From Centreville VA.   Said they were thanking me for my previous support of the Herritage Foundation.....I've never heard of or supported it....told them to stop and take my name and # off their list.

New phone no. to me - did not pick up - looks like a phony number and name ID: Massachusetts

They've called for several days in a row. They told me they were chimney sweeps...and I asked them to take me off their calling list. They're still calling!

No idea...they would not tell me how they got my # either

harassing, rude and called at 9;pm

Received a call from this #.  No message left.  Am on the DNC list  Annoying!  ID: massachusetts call

Just received a call from this number. I did not answer and never will. Make them stop!!!!!!!

508-100-0000 is calling here also, scam calling, no message no answer....
888-322-8209 is another scam call, calls twice a day.

They called and asked if our name was so and so my husband said yes and they hung up.. Sick of these freaking calls. We don't owe any bills so I have no idea what this is.

They have been harassing us for months! How convenient the number is not a real number, cant b blocked or stopped? When I do a reverse lookup it tells me it's an invalid number, yet *69 says that is the actual number. Obviously govt. or phone company. a side note, my firewall shows daily repeated attacks from China to my pc. Anyone else have this?

Been calling daily, leaves no message. Comcast wont allow me to add this number to the call screening for some reason ?

Someone needs to do something about these types of intrusive callers. They seem to have the advantage since they know a heck of a lot more about us than we do of them. Sounds like there's a lot more people who feel like I do. How can so many various companies come up when researching the same #? Every time I think I'm covered by a Do Not Call list of sorts, more calls manage to get through???? Any helpful suggestions?

I get Calls from this number several times week.  I do not answer.
