This number has been calling me once a day for a couple of weeks now.  Never leaves a message.  If I pick up, I get silence.  Today is a record, though, as they called me FIVE (5) times so far!  Any attempt to call back produces a busy signal.

I am completely baffled.  I have no outstanding debts, so if it's a debt collector, they're calling the wrong person.  If it's a telemarketer, I would think they'd want to actually say something when I pick up.  There has to be some way of reporting these people, whoever they are.

This number has called my office, literally, every 15 minutes asking to speak to my boss who is in a meeting right now. As soon as I say, "I'm sorry...." (I'm sorry he's unavailable at the moment may I take a message) they hang up and call back exactly 15 minutes later. They do not even allow me to finish my sentence before disconnecting. RUDE!

This number calls my cell at least 5-6 times a day as soon as I answer they hang up.

I am having the exact same thing happen to me! I have even tryed texting the number to get them to stop. I think, because I've had quite a few days to think on this,  it must be some kind of agency that's getting paid to make calls and they just say they aren't getting though but still get paid for placing the call. You can make a lot more calls if you never stop to talk to anyone. At least that's all I can come up with because some times I do hear a man's voice before it hangs up. Thank you so much for posting this!!! I know I'm not alone.

I have gotten so many calls on my cell phone  from this number I gave it contact status on my phone and have named it Annoying Incessant Call. I answer and get hung up on. I can sometimes faintly hear a man's voice in the background before the disconnect so I know there is an actual person on the other end. I have tryed to tell them to stop before the disconnect. I have tryed calling back only to get a busy signal. I have even tryed texting the number to ask them to stop. I have no doubt I will get another call in about 20 minutes.

Why does the FCC require you have a contact name and the business name? Without these you can not file a complaint. I operate a business and this person is costing me money. Thanks Obama good for nothing!

Our office receives calls from this number constantly. If anyone picks up and answers, nothing is said from the other end. It's quite annoying and something needs to be done about it. I've implemented a call block.

Same here. We get calls every day with no one at the other end. Call the number back and get a busy signal.

When I answered the fifth call of the day, this time, Raul came on the line and offered a Cash Advance against our credit card receivables.  I asked him how come the dead silence when I answer and he said sometimes the robo-caller doesn't recognize when the call is answered or the volume of call responses overwhelm the system.  I 'played him' to get info on whose's making these calls.

SO NOW WE KNOW WHO THE CALLER IS!!!!  Or who they claim to be.

OBTW, I googled them and came up with all sorts of lenders but not them. Phishing???

He took some basic info, said we qualified, and said an Underwriter will get back to me shortly.

Call 10+ times a day. No reply when answered.

508-203-4038 - 7 times today alone.  I made a silent ring tone just for them.  No answer, no message, sometimes it only rings once.

This number is insane!! I told them if TN ey call again I'm reporting. They have called me 50 times today!!! I've had it!!!

I am also having the same problem, actually they are calling on my business line and I wish they would stop!

6 times this morning before noon.  I called the advanced capital now site listed above and got an answer machine - left a message to stop calling me.  I turned them into the fed last Friday with screen shots of my cell phone dial list with 14 calls on it - 7 more after I wrote the first note.

After 3 more calls - each followed by me calling the 800 to let them share the joy of the calls...  (answering machine) someone finally picked up the phone over there and said it's not us.  I think that's a lie.

I've been getting calls from this number from a woman with an Indian accent, asking to speak with "the owner of the business."  On subsequent calls she's also occasionally asks for me by name "May I speak with Steven G----."  She purports to be  offering some cash business financing.  She's mentioned the name of the company but I can't remember. It's a name that suggests they provide capital in the form of loans to businesses.

I always have her hold on ("Let me see if he's available, can you please hold?  He's on the other line but I think he's about to get off."), put my phone on mute, and let it sit there until she hangs up a couple minutes later.  I've done it to her five of six times, and she keeps calling back like a clingy ex-girlfriend.  She'll eventually get the hint.

Word of advice:  Never hang up on telemarketers.  When you cut it short and hang up, you are doing them a favor.  Instead, take up as much of their time as you can without taking up too much of yours.  Telemarketers rely on non-interested people hanging up on them or cutting it short so they can move on to the next call.  Their conversion rate is way too low to spend any more than 20 seconds with people who are not going to convert.  So if everyone would just keep on the line for at least a minute or two, the bottom would fall out of their business model.

Also, forgot to mention, I've twice this morning and on a couple prior occasions received a call from this number but nobody will be on the other line.  It goes to a dead line tone after about 10 seconds.  So maybe she's punking me now, who knows.
