Missed Call - No voice mail

OPERATOR CALLED SAYING "YOU DIALED 9-1-1. PLEASE SECURE KEYPAD ON YOUR PHONE."

This number came up on my cell - they didn't leave a message.  I called the number back a few minutes later but no one answered.  A few minutes later the police showed up at my door and said they got a 911 call from my phone.

Got a call just a few minutes ago, didn't recognize the number.  Looked it up on here -- I'm glad I did before I called the number back.  Looks like it's some sort of routing to 911, don't do it.

my dad got a call from this number, said he called 911 which he did not.
so i called back this number this evening twice, both no one answered phone. preparing the police show up at front door any minute.

My phone died and when I checked my voicemails, I had one just of sopmeone hanging up. I thought I knew the person, but tried looking the number up just in case and saw this. I have the bb curve, so I assume its a blackberry thing..

this number called me and said you just called 911. they then said it again and hung up the phone. after i got the call i came to look up the number and people were saying that it was a blackberry thing and to secure your keyboard but i have the env3?

hello all! i just received a call from this number and i let it hit the voicemail because i didn't recognize it.

can anyone explain how it's a blackberry thing and how it's a routing number? The voicemail said i dialed 911 and to call back if i have an emergency. hmm...
