Received a call tonight saying I owed a loan I never took and said I better have my lawyer call them. I said why have I never been notified of the debt, he said he could not give me the info but to expect a Sherrif to be picking me up at 10am to take me to jail, once I started making my demands as a consumer he started cussing and hung up on me. My husband called back from his phone demanding answers and they hung up and blocked his phone number, I have made a complaint against them with the FCA and will be calling my local police in the morning.

Is that number a scam cuz it call my fiance and said She was Going to jail if She dout pay a 100 by tomarrow  sry said She got 8000 and She didn't

I recieved a call from a James Asher and i know this is a scan i have gotten calls like this before demanding money. And the was going to jail

I got the same message just now stating that it was very urgent or have my attorney contact them..Same strong accent got the same message months ago..Sounds like they are at it again.....Lazy ass ppl trying to scam others!!!

Some guy called himself Al Smith and repeated to me to verify that it was me by saying my name, social security number, and mailing address.  I said yes that was correct.  He said I was being sued from a company and proceeded to transfer me to someone else in regard to the case.  I became irate and said there was no way that I could be involved or have bad dealings with a company.  I hung up on him.  He calls back my work and aggressively asks the receptionist to speak to me.  The secretary noticed how rude he was and asked who he was with.  He would not give an answer.  He kept asking to speak to me but the secretary told him I was away.  Watch out for this.  Call your bank and check your credit report for anything out of the ordinary.

Called me and yesterday and said that I was aperp in a case and had my ssn and where I work and that I was in trouble. They are scam artist .I am a retired lawman  .

My employer received a phone cal from a ricky harris and left me a msg to call them when I got in today.  I called the number and right away some man with a heavy Indian or Pakistan accent says when I ask to speak to Ricky Harris he says there is no him there and asked my name so I told him. He then says do I have an attorney that can represent me or bail me out of jail because I am going to be arressted on Monday and go to jail for at least a 7 day hold or I could pay hium 199 dollars today otherwise it will later cost me 8,000.  He claims that a payday loan lender says I got a loan and have refuse to pay them back.  I do in fact have a payday loan that I got for 150 and my due date was yesterday which I paid.  As we were speaking I looked at my bank statement and told him that they were in fact paid yesterday and payment has already cleared and I went to check my account with payday lender and it shows as well that they were paid.  When I told him I thought this was a scam because I know for a fact I have paid.  He then tells me hold on I was breaking up and that he would call me right back.  He calls me back at work and says to verify my information which I did not, but for me to be very afraid because my local Sheriff's will be coming for me either to wherever I live or to my job to arrest me until they can investigate this further. They claim my loan is through American Cash which I have never even heard of.  I have sent an email to my payday lender in which my account is through to make them aware of the situation.  The number of this is 508-313-8122 and the name that shows on my caller ID is Starnet Paete.

Got a few calls from this number yesterday and assumed it was a regular telemarketer. The guy had a middle eastern accident and when i was telling him with a stern voice to stop calling this number, he got an attitude and told me not to abuse him. I told him im not abusing him, this is. my number and stop calling, then hung up. The number called back about 5 times right in a row and i did not answer. The next day i was checking my voicemail and he had left a message saying he needed to speak to me or my attorney. He said to stop ignoring his calls and that if i did not return his call or have my attorney contact him, that all he could do for me was let whats coming to me unfold, and good luck to me. When the number originally called, the location said st. Pierre and miquelon. I called the number though and it came up as brockton, ma. I could not get through, it just kept giving me a busy tone

Just got a call at work from this LOSER called Howard stating he's from a Law firm. Told him I wasn't here cuz I already knew what's up with these calls. Don't plan on calling them back but we need to post the names and phone #'s of these people so everyone can be aware of them. Probably some guy in India for all I know. The accent gives them away! Number is from Brockton, Ma. but I'm sure they can purchase a cell phone from anywhere and use it.

These people have harassed me day and night saying I owe money They got my name somehow on the net. Something has to be done about them..

just received a phone call from the same guy as everyone else, Indian accent rude as hell. Number came up as Brockton, MA (508) 313-8122. Very rude threaten jail for a loan from someone I've never heard of and never dealt with as I don't have any loans with any payday leanders as I know better. If they ask for your information don't confirm anything Ignore the guy hang up the phone and report it on this site as well as anyone else who needs to see it.

guy goes by the name tony brown said that i owe 500 hundred dollars to petty cash which don,t exsist  went to the police station to report the call the officer called the number and told the guy that call himself tony who he was he hung up right away officer called 3 more times same result.and they will also tell you you will be arrested at your job and give you a time lol thats a joke. whats so sad about this can you imagine the elderly these guys have pulled this on.

My girlfreind called me in a panic tonight, she gave me a story of a man calling from Boston Law Firm and demanded payment on a past due loan,  he had information thats he should not of had like her social old address and said he was going to send the police to arrest her for a four year old under 500. loan. I "her boyfreind" called the number back and a man with a savere accient answerd and as soon as i told him who and what I was cliing for he hung up on me. I called from my cell and he answerd and hung up, I called from my house phone he picked up, I called from my sons phone and he picked up but never from the same number.....so my girlfriend is calling the (FTC) Federal Trade Commission and filing a police report tonight thank you for your post I found it looking for help to ease her tension...thank you again RW

This guy with a forgein accent did the same thing to me... told me I was going to jail... so all I have to do is tell them that I will file a complaint against them?
