Called relentlessly for hours to a place of business. Could not be reasoned with or spoken to.  Heavy indian type accent, but it could have been fake.  Definate scammer posing as debt collector. Reported to police.

I had the exact same experience today- but with name calling and threats

Guy with an Indian accent called repeatedly, claiming to be from the "Cash Advance Legal Department." He was a joke. Threatened my wife and tried to induce us to send money to a woman in Philly by Western Union. He got very nasty; told my wife that the police were going to haul her away and she was going to get fired from her job. Called himself Michael Lee. I called the FBI several times as well as the local cops, and the cops in Worcester, Mass, home of the 508 area code. This is a complete scam; finally has my phone company block his number.

Similar experience.  Guy claiming to be Eric Jefferson (with heavy indian accent mind you), called relentlessly after i hung up on him about a month ago.  Called 40 times in 2 hours at my work, using multiple lines.  Also tried calling my cell phone with a cloned number they put in as my work number.  Only problem was, i was at work and nobody was trying to call me, so i knew better than to answer it.  Not only that, when he tried to call my work today, caller id showed up as McDonald's.  Total scam. Anybody that clones a number to try to get you to answer is not legit.  Don't give out your information to these people.

Keep getting calls about a previous client of ours.  I have told this Mr. Eric Durner that the client moved out of our county and we no longer have contact with him.  He said my name was listed as a reference and that if I wanted to "save my life" I would give a message to this client.  I told him repeatedly that I have no contact with him.

Keeps calling for one of my employes. Will not transfer or take a message. Called my hotel back to back about twenty times. I spoke with him again and he said "I will blast your ass". No joke. Said he was allen Stewart from Legal Department of DOF.

keep getting the same calls under "Joe Miller" indian accent could of gave him a better name.. contacted us for an employeer we told him that she no longer work here. called the police he spoke with the gentleman and he also threatened the police officer!!! hes been calling since i got here ab 12:30ish pm.. ive tried to ask for the mgr and he must of played a diff role!! cursed me out and threatened me i thought it was a joke i used my phone to record him!!! hope they figure this out soon they are def a FRAUD!!!

Called and asked for someone other than myself. I called back and told him not to call my number again, he said he was just the operator and told me to shut up and hung up on me.

This same guy (indian/arab accent, verbally abusive and threatening physical harm to staff as well as threatening our business ) used the name Mark Massy. Called multiple times over 3 days and tied up our multi-line phone system with some automated dialer so no matter what line you picked up it was him on each line.
Contacted AT&T and local police department to file a report about this guy and then was able to get AT&T to block his number.

Called my job starting this morning and played on my work phone stated that I IOU them money statedi would Gogo jail couldn't give me a name and stated I had western union the money to them I was scared and upset but I knew after siding and talking with him I don't IOU them anything

Scammer is calling switchboard asking for Lucinda Boyd.  Tying up member lines.

Called our place of business for over 4 hours straight, tying up all lines.  The guy, Randy Washington, was threatening and annoying.  Called the police, they told me there was nothing they can do, what can be done?

Caller claims to be 'Robert Barton' with a heavy indian accent claiming he is in Boston, asking for an employee.  He ties up patient/physician access lines, causing delays throughout the hospital.  Caller refuses to transfer me to a manager.  Filed a complaint with Aurora Police.
This will be followed up on, updates will follow on how to contact area police.

Called and asked for someone who does not work here.  When I asked who was calling, mumbled a name (again heavy Indian accent); when I asked what company was calling, said "the f-cking company".  When I called him on the language he used, he then said he was calling from the Attorney General's office, when I asked what state, he said "Massachusetts".  Then he wanted to know who I was (did not give this out) and my age.  When I repeated stated that these questions were inappropriate, he finally hung up.

Very creepy.

Yep, Robert Barton called my company over and over, tying up lines, we have people checking on this.

this guy has got another thing coming, law enforcement has been called phone conversation was recorded the threat of blowing up my employee's home with her family in it is a serious threat to me and we do not take these threats to kindly, a lawfirm is the wrong place of business to call for this type of prank...commerciasl air at these times and money was lost because of it, someone like MR Barton will have to pay this with the money he has collected from his victims..

Claims a debt is owed but cannot/will not provide details or follow legal guidlines to send verification of debt. Makes threats that hold no water. Wish they would get it that I am not going to be made to pay a debt they won't verify with documentation.
I had a few PDL and paid on time for all. Then had a hack on my bank account and these jokers start calling. Came to learn that under the laws governing PDLs in my state I had over paid to all of the accounts as none of the companies are licensed to operate in Minnesota.
Hard lesson learned. No more easy way out but not going to be taken by threats.

When they first called last month, we thought it was a personal legal matter for the person they asked for, even though they called repeatedly that day.  Then they started back, called for hours on Friday, called back Tuesday. "I can call you all day long". We had to turn off the phones. When he finally called me a "B" and told me to shut my F-ing mouth, then I called the police. Our phone company couldn't do anything about blocking until we filed a police report.  These people have serious problems.

Same as all the earlier messages, called my cell phone and when i got to work there was a message waiting for me from the same guy Robert (Heavy accent indian). He then called over and over and of course we had to answer the phone because it is a buisness and when my fellow employee called he told her very sexual things and he called several times until the cops got to the office. Does anybody know how to stop these people?

Robert Barton called for former employee here to threatening legal action if we didn't tell them where a the former employee was.  Wierd...
