Got call from 508-532-7486 they did not leave message.  Called # back and got msg number disconnected.  ....  Had numerous calls from another number recently that also gives same result!

Claimed to be support executive from comcast and started asking personal details. when questioned back about identity they quickly said they cant provide any details and disconnected

Claimed that I had requested a move of my comcast service to a new location and wanted to confirm / assist with it. they left a message, I did not call back. seems like a scam. i have not requested any services for a move

Just received a voicemail saying that Comcast needs a copy of my proof of address and photo ID to process my move request. I'm currently in my new home with CONNECTED services, so this was all very suspicious. I contacted Comcast directly to see if they needed any information from me, and they did not. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE....this is a scam and they will try to steal your identity.

Got a call today after signing up to relocate services with Comcast. Didn't answer but a message was left stating that unfortunately my request couldn't be processed. I was asked to contact them on this # because more information was required. I had been cautioned today that the company would NEVER contact me by phone and if it happened, I should not answer any questions asked.

Said he was calling from Xfinity and needed my S,S. number to verify my recent purchase. I told him I didn't purchase anything. He was assistant I did. When I ask what it was I supposedly ordered, he went back into the whole bit again that he needed my S.S, number to tell me. Hung up on him. Called back on the number he called me on and got a recording that the number was disconnected or out of service. Then the next night about the same time, he calls again. I never cursed someone out so much in my life. He didn't know what to say. I blocked the spoofed number he was using. Hopefully I never hear from him again.

Eerie how after I talked with a Comcast Moving Service (contractor center - located in West VA), I get this spoof call the next day...  I want to know how this happened so will be contacting Comcast to let them know.  Thank you for the previous posts, reaffirming my gut instinct.  I did not answer and glad I was not fooled.

Just ordered Xfinity Comcast yesterday and received a call from this number today. Seemed fishy so dropped the call. Glad I googled it. Thanks

This is a safe number. We are a department that verify all service requests. New customers most of the time. Sometimes we have orders with wrong address, no address, no package but the request is on that system. If you receive a call from this number you should be prepared with your order number. 8446720640/41

Probably other customer set up incorrectly address and the result was in our computer said you wanted to make a change. In that case the agent cancelled the order.

I work behind that phone number, we receive new service requests, sometimes they came with wrong information, like wrong address, phone number, or even package prices and equipments. For that sometimes disturb the wrong people and they feel we scam. But no! we are just confirming what we have. This is a safe phone number. If you receive a call from this phone number please call back to 844-672-0640 or 41 if you are spanish speaker.

They keep calling everyday stating that someone has requested Comcast service to my address. Are you serious, how dumb do you think I am? I live here, why would someone call a user that already has the service in the address? [***]. Why would anyone call me from a number that when you try to call back, it will states that the number is disconnected. DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE THIS IS A SCAM.
