I just did - on my pre-paid cell that is NOT tied to ANY credit or accounts of any kind.  This is a WORCESTER, MA #, NOT CAMBRIDGE/BOSTON area as they are claiming here.  SUSPECT this is yet another of the "Switch Your Electric Provider/Buy Solar Panels Over the Phone from a Complete Foreign Stranger with a Credit Card" PHISHING Scam, but it could be ANY scam.  Got a "Fix Your Computer Remotely" call earlier today on my landline.

I wish we could NUKE the country/countries that these calls are coming from.  Or, better yet, Neutron Bomb them; kills the scumbags but leaves the infrastructure intact.

Rang twice, no voicemail.  Blocking number.

Got a call from this number. They left no message. I'm assuming its spam.

I just called the number back and there was an automated message giving the option to have my number removed from their call list.  Not sure if it will work, but I tried.  I didn't have to give any info.

Consider calling your phone provider to globally block these.  They could use #'s from this site.

Jerks call and hang up when answering machine picks up.  Consumer  Reports Sept. 2015 issue advises to go to web site:   WWW.ENDROBOCALLS.ORG  and sign petition to force telephone carriers to use the technology that they currently have to block all of these bogus calls just like computer companies now block most email spam. No matter how many times I have called the FCC or the Do Not Call Registry to complain, the calls keep coming. Hopefully this new approach might work better.

I'm back here today because today I got a call from this # on my landline. I let it go to ans. machine on the chance it was a doctor's office from whom I'm expecting a call.  Actually kept ringing until machine picked up, and, even while the outgoing msg was playing began an **ILLEGAL** pre-recorded message about "my electric bill" and a 'government program' to reduce costs. This will make it the ONE-HUNDRED EIGHTEENTH (118th !) Call from just THIS type of scam from FORTY-SIX (46 !!) DIFFERENT numbers since February 2015.  [Funny, the production values and script make it sound like this is generated by the SAME PEOPLE who had "RACHEL" call us about our Credit Card Interest so many times - for YEARS.]  I BLOCK 'em after the first call, but can do NOTHING to stop the "NEW" numbers from invading.   Maybe this new bill/law will do something about that.

Just received an unsolicited phone call from this number. I let it go to voicemail and no message was left.  I called back, and received an automated message that began by giving me the option to press 1 to be added to their Do Not Call List.  No company name provided.
