They left me a voicemail. They were from Time Warner Cable, who I do owe money to. Were not harassing with me at all. Just one call.

Got a call from these a*sholes stating I would be charged if I didn't return my equipment. We moved and took our boxes with us and reactivated our service. Apparently, TWC is NOT intelligent enough to realize all our equipment is being used at our new address.

Beware of Time Warner Cable.  It is a beast.  Its customer abuses litter the Internet.  As a natural monopoly, in a mostly unregulated industry, like a true power monger, it entitles itself to bully its customers in whatever way it sees fit.  One way it abuses customers is by kidnapping addresses.  By "kidnapping," I mean that they hold new customers responsible for previous customers having lived at an address, and, who had a cable bill that was not paid.  Despite the new customer having good credit, being approved, and, installation done, TW will audit the address, and, upon finding its history, will demand that the new customer "present himself at a TW counter," show proof of identity, and, copy of a property deed of sale, or, lease, and, if a lease, additional declaration from the landlord of the tenancy as well--or, risk termination of service.  Frankly, the current state of affairs with the cable industry is simply nuts--this experience, but one example of a company going mad.  Its demands are simply outrageous.  This is a cable service, not a request to access the White House.  TW has become an abusive company, and, people should consider using any other service for its telephone, TV, and, Internet connection needs.  There's hope on the horizon for those of us living in semi-rural, and, rural areas.  It's just a matter of time before new technology makes cable a dinosaure, bringing in smaller companies that haven't yet felt the power of its own corrupt practices.  We really need to put TW out of business.

I think this is SPAM or whatever you want to call it. SCAM maybe?! They leave a voicemail and say they are Time Warner Cable and that $500 was charged to our account for equipment we don't even have in our home! Plus I've never seen Time Warner call from any other numbers except 877-772-2253. And one other number that I don't remember, but, it's definitely not 508 number.

This company is On Process Technologies (one of TWC's contractors).

Got several calls about returning equipment. Apparently, someone used my phone number to get TWC services. Called the local office and they said my equipment and account was fine. After receiving another call from this contractor, I tried unsuccessfully to get them to stop calling me. The local TWC office wouldn't do a damn thing either. THEY screwed up and didn't get the problem solved until I contacted Glenn A. Britt who is the Chairman and CEO of Time Warner Cable. His e-mail address is glenn.britt@twcable.com

If you are tired of all Time Warner Cable bullsh*t AND problems, I would e-mail him.

Same experience as Tom.  Caller-ID says "Opt. (Operations?) Time-Warner."  Although they never leave a message, they wanted their telephone modem back from my father-in-law's house.  I explained to them in a letter that the estate sales company either sold the modem or kept it and to contact them.  They assessed a $125 fee.  I told them in a second letter that the telephone had also been gone for months, so the service had not and could not have been used and THEY actually owed ME money.  Someone called back on a different number and agreed that a credit was due.  I did see a credit on a subsequent bill; however, I am still waiting to see the actual cash.  I wrote a third letter asking them to send a check so I may close out my father-in-law's checking account.

Disconected service the day before I moved. They continues it for 4 months and wanted payment. Kept sending auto debits to a closed bank account, Bank wants return fees and TWC wants 400.00 told them my attorney would take care of it.
