just add the scammer number to call forward to local police.
this way wind somebody pick up and they hang up or
tired to get info the police have then ok
the police have a good caller id
next time they think about calling people to scam then,
they can get the police or you.this is the fasted way to get rid of scammers
but if you now any gov. or fbl local office put that number.

Called twice and hang up when our answering machine answers. I blocked. Listed as East Bridgewater MA where I know no one.

Just got this call, too.  Same thing: "East Brigdewater, MA" which is NOT even a REAL place.  I picked up after the third ring and just listened; 'dead air' of a robocall.  Anyone know WHAT scam this is?  My best guess is another of the "Switch Electric Providers" (to 'save $' - but its a SCAM) OR "Buy Solar Panels Over the Phone, Sight/SITE UNseen UNmeasured & Unevaluated for solar from a COMPLETE FOREIGN STRANGER with your CREDIT CARD" ***SCAM***.  But it could also be another "Free Cruise" or the IRS or Microsoft calling to 'fix' my computer!  (Ironically, Our government-regulated, regular, 'establishment' ELECTRIC PROVIDER just announced a price DECREASE!)

We are getting FIVE or MORE of these calls daily; most havng been already blocked after the first attempt, but the phone still rings once, so it still annoying.  Then, since they are not getting through on the 'old' numbers, they switch to a 'new' one like this and start all over HARASSING us.

Oh, and the 508 area code is ***NOT*** CAMBRIDGE, 800Notes!  Its the WORCESTER Area which is considered 'mid' state.  Take it from a 40 yr Mass Resident!

And these are not 'telemarketers'; these are CRIMINALS.

When you forward calls to another party, doesn't YOUR number show up on their Caller ID?

Yes I believe it does and by doing that you are opening a big can of worms that a sane person would not want.

Called again. I answered this time. They are pushing solar energy. Sounded like the call was coming from New Delhi or Islamabad

My guess is there are companies that do these calls to find out what time you are home, and taking phone calls. They then sell that information to scammers, fund raisers, political parties, to improve their solicitation rates.

It was a clean energy place.  I live in an apartment building, so I just yelled that to them and told them not to call me any more.  Probably won't help.

East  Bridgewater is a real place, but this is just a scam. I asked them for their address and all they could tell me was a street, not a city or state. I can't get them to stop calling.

I will advise my grandmother she's living in an imaginary town . Lmao

Call from 508 715 0004. Left no message. Caller Id says east bridgewater MA. Sooner or later these fools are going to run out of MA town names and will have to start inventing some. This one is getting the big hexagonal block now button.

Caller ID read East Bridgewater, 508-715-0004. Saw this number before. Picked up and the caller sounded like someone from New Delhi or Islamabad

It's a shame people do this sort of thing for a living, and it's a shame they may rip off someone actually stupid enough to give them their credit card information. All of it is a shame.

508 is also Plymouth.

Said they were calling from Green Energy Solar.

I screen my calls on caller ID if an unfamiliar number shows up and then do not answer the phone.  Most do not call back after 2 tries.

FYI folks - Solar panels are  100% subsidized, free to you on the Fed Tax debt.  Nobody cares if it works or not just do it and you've changed your electric company to THEM at their rates.
