got a call from lady looking for money for youth group . just a scam

Got a call from this number with no message left.

I keep greeting called by this number.  When asking for the boss and he is not available, they just hang up.  Call comes in as Unknown number.  Did a search and it is unlisted as well.  Sounds like a scam to me!

This number called me, but I didn't answer.  They did not leave a message either.

Could it be anything but a scam?

These idiots keep calling me. I tried calling them back and got a recording.

The caller ID states the call is from Bellingham, MA (and it's a 508 area code), but the woman on the message is definitely NOT from this area.  It is for a charity organization that is doing telefund raising.  After listening to a very long message, you have the option of being placed on a do not call list by pressing "1", but when you do, you get an error message.

They have called many times ( with a slight variation on phone number) (508) 876-2482, 876-248l, 875-2478 so I assume it is different extensions within the same organization. Caller id states Bellingham, Massachusetts. Always the same: they call, it goes to voicemail, they hang up. No message left and calls seem to be in the mostly in the evening, at the most annoying times.

This number (along with -2482 and -2478) have repeated times. The answering machine picks up and they listen, can hear faint background noise, then hangup.

No message left, call everyday.

They call me every day and night!

Keep getting unwanted calls from 508-876-2481 several times a day but no one is there.  I am registering a complaint.
