IRS scam message. Recieve one almost every day this week from differet numbers. Poor English and grammar.

Received recorded message regarding IRS.  Been getting calls from "unknown" numbers this week, with no message till now.  Clearly a scam.

Message stating that IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and to call them back for more information.  SCAM!!!!!

They claimed to be the IRS and they were filing a law suit against me...Please call immediately...I googled number to make sure it was IRS...be careful everyone!

A recorded message stating that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and that this would be my final notice. As stated above - the IRS as well as ALL State tax departments handles all contact in WRITING and by mail. This is a SCAM!!!

3 calls from 800 number last Sunday that were similar with recorded message, now this one today. Enough!

IRS has tried to reach us several time and this is the final message warning of lawsuit filed by IRS

There is a widespread IRS (or CRA) or "tax scam" being  practiced by scammers on both USA and Canadian residents.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

Received same message as above, guess these idiots don't realize the IRS doesn't file lawsuits, and they don't call or email you they do it in writing.

IRS is filing a lawsuit against you

Got a call from509-207-4031 saying they were the IRS and this was the last notice about filing a law suit.  Called #back and Derrick answered.  I did not tell him what the message was and he said when know what the message was I could call back.  Of course I did not call back.

This is the IRS and we have a law suit against you. This is your final notice , for more info call 509-207-4031.

As soon as I heard this voice mail, i started laughing. Even Foxnews is warning people about SCAMMERS doing this with phone calls.

DON'T BE FOOLED. THE IRS DOESNT CALL YOU ON THE PHONE. YOU'D GET A LETTER IN THE MAIL FIRST.

Scam. Recorded message stating the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and that this is my final notice. Caller ID showed the number used to call me was 'Pay Phone' 714-535-7004.

Got a call said they were the "IRS" ,I was going to jail didn't make sense. Wouldn't send me official IRS email either. Couldn't recall how they had notified me already about fraud. They dropped the call after pushback. Same # as above
