509-207-4425, This phone number called me twice. I did not pick up the first time. When I picked up on the second incoming call from this number, a man with an Indian accent told me that I had been selected by the US Government to receive a grant for $9000 that I did not have to pay back or report on my taxes. He said that I had been randomly chosen because I had good credit and no outstanding balances with any credit company. I knew right away that this was most likely a scam because my credit is horrible and I do have unpaid balances which gets taken out of my tax returns each year for the past 9 years. They told me to call 360-347-1808 and gave me a confirmation ID. Obviously I will not be calling that number. I don't care if the offer is real or not.

A man with thick accent called my minor child. He knew her name, he was speaking fast & she was confused. I took the phone & asked him to take her number off his call list as she is a child. He acted like he could not understand. I asked for a supervisor. He told me "how about you sick my dick"
I called back and asked for a manager where I was told "I am the manager [***]"
Making a report with my local police now.

Same as kkhang.  Their phishing for bank acct or credit card #'s.  You can hear lots of people in the back ground - boiler room.

They called 3 times I have been scammed before so this is another!

Yup, same crap.  Did some research on the internet and found a name to go along with the number but I doubt if it's true.

I got the same call it is a scam to get money from people.

just hung up with them. They told me to "[***] off, [***]" when I told them they were committing a crime by impersonating a US Government employee.

I have two missed calls from that number, and since I didn't recognize it I did some research and now I'm glad I did, I won't be calling them back!!!

How can we catch these scam artists!!!!

Can't be done.  They are hard core scammer/extortionists located in India nd Pakistan and as such beyond the reach of US law.    Call blocker might help.

No one said anything tried t call back no one answer need them to stop wasting my time

Received a phone call from this number.  Man with heavy accent said he was from the government and I received a grant.  I said I didn't think the government gave grants to random individuals.  He said it was because I pay my bills on time and never filed bankruptcy.  He said he wanted to verify my information, so he told me my name.  Then he said an address, but it was not correct so I said you've got the wrong person and hung up.

I just got a call asking for me by my maiden name saying calling from government about student grants ok?  As soon as I heard the way he was speaking with a foreign accent I said not interested and hung up.
