I received a call today

2nd call from 509 area code that says its is filing law suit against me.thank goodness for answering machines.obviously a scam.will report it.

Automated call -- Said they are with the IRS and are giving final notice that a lawsuit is being filed against me, and that I need to call this number right away.

Got two calls in the same day....crank calls  also 509 492-3664

They said they needed to discuss a case filed against me.  Called twice and left messages on my answering machine.  I have no case pending.  This is fraud!!!

Call went unanswered.  Message was left - but appears it was tail end of it  -   "At 84622. I repeat 509-288-4622. Thank you"

I've been getting multiple calls for the past 2 weeks.

Answered and got a machine saying I was being sued by IRS.
Received a similar call two days ago from a different number that went to voicemail:
"Internal Revenue service the reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 509-790-0043. I repeat 509-790-0043. Thank you"

I received a message on my home landline and unfortunately returned the call from my cell phone. Clearly this is a scam and I have reported them to Verizon Wireless, Verizon, and the FCC

Another final notice from the "IRS" filing a law suit against me, with a new number this week.

Recieved multiple calls from number...said they were irs

Getting multiple calls 2-3/day over the last week. Messages cut off by answering machine. Insist that I call the number back right away 509-288-4622 to discuss a case.  Call comes up on caller ID as Colfax WA with the same numerous given.

They caller id is shown as colfax or unknown.. They called several times in one day but I am busy so did not answer but got the recording. It is a scam call about irs and filing a low suit against you. My brother got a call just like it , he. Allied the irs and they verified it was a scam. They also had another 509 #

I received my second call from this number (509 288 4622) today.  I have also reported this incident to the IRS.

They are still active. Be careful!

My second call today. 1st caller id from Pomeroy, WA 509 566-3079 2 days ago on a weekend and just now from Colfax, WA 509-288-4622.

Received two calls today from this number with a Colfax, WA ID. The first came in at 8:29 am. Let both ring and surprisingly, the robocall didn't hang up either time. As the others have said, it's a scam "IRS lawsuit." Here are other numbers with the same "IRS lawsuit" scam: 202-738-1267, 657-230-7530, 352-458-5532, 509-492-3664, 509-790-0043, and 509-566-3079.

Received several calls from 509-288-4622 about IRS issue.  Called them back and they had my wife's name, and very old address.  Said they needed to speak with her about IRS issue.  I informed them that we didn't receive anything via registered mail (like the real IRS does).  I then proceeded to have some fun with the guy, asking him for his IRS agent number (if there is such a thing), he gave me a very long number, I then asked for his SSN, again real long number.  I told him that number was too long and must be alien registration number.  I then asked who he worked for...he said he wasn't comfortable releasing that info.  I then accused him of being embarrassed of who he worked for, then he said jihad....but the guy sounded somalian so I didn't really believe him.  At this point he knew I wasn't going to give him any more info and some profanities were exchanged.  We all need to call them constantly and flood their lines, can someone please set up some war dialers to flood their lines please!!!

Heavy accent either Indian or Chinese. He wanted my social security number to verify the IRS claim against me.  I had fun with him for a while and then he hung up on me.
