Just got a call from this number - yet another IRS threat to sue me. This time they had a white female robcall o voice doing the threatening instead of a foreign male named Steve. They are getting more official sounding at least. Still, the IRS NEVER calls people - they send registered mail, so it's just another BS scam.

This call is not, as it purports to be, a call from the IRS.  It is yet another call coming out of India - this time they have stepped up their game with a computer generated female voice instead of the oh so obvious "Steve Martin"  (really?  LOL!) who called me yesterday on a different number.

The IRS will not robo-call you.   They will notify you by mail if there is a pending action.    Further I know there is no way I have an issue with the IRS as a:  I always file accurate and true tax data.  b:  All my filing is done through my attorney and she is listed as the contact point for any issues.

Just block the number.

As an aside, you will note, if you have caller ID and your system supports it, that this number and others like it will be noted as "Out of Area".  That means that the area code - in this case 509 - is not really the origin point of the call.

Yes, just received a robo call that the IRS is about to sue me.  This is a scam as I always file on time and never have had a problem with them.  They always communicate via letter.

Just got the same robo call claiming to be from the IRS with a female voice saying I am going to be sued. My phone identified the call as being from Wenatchee,WA.

Wanna have some fun with me???? We just got a robocall from the 'IRS' stating that they were going to sue me if I didn't return their call... come to find out .... it's scammers based in India... they tied up my line ... so let's tie up theirs. If you have nothing better to do, join me in flooding these scammers lines with phone calls. They've answer everytime... but I think they are tired of hearing from me... so why don't you let them hear from you.... give them an earful if you like.. or just annoy the crap out of them by continuing to call them... let's give them a taste of their own medicine.... their number is 509-293-9666. Let them know just how much you love the fact that they try to scam you out of your money!!! Share this if you wish... let's flood them with a little bit of American exceptional-ism.

They left a message on my sister's answering machine saying the IRS has filed a lawsuit against her & to call this number for more information.  I told her the IRS wouldn't call- they contact by mail!

Yeah, same thing.  Lady robocall...I called the number back, told the [***] that answered my name was Suq Madiq.  He didn't get it...

Just received the call. A female voice saying that IRS is filing a law suit to us. Several months ago it was a male voice, now a female.

Caller said they were from the IRS and we're going to start legal action against me
