got the same call during work

same here, recieved on pre-paid cell phone

Received phone call with Spanish speaking woman babbling about I don't know what and then call was disconnected...

JUST GOT THE CALL BUT DID NOT ANSWER...

I had a miss call from this same number. No message was left.

Got a call on my cell from some lady speaking Spanish - not conversationally with me but just talking. This is the fourth time this happened with this number. Who is this? How can I stop this?

Got a call in Spanish - which I speak.  Spoke to a woman telling me I won $1000 prize for holders of a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover through a major bank.  She asked me my name, and then started asking for personal information.  I asked her why, and she said went off at my about if I thought she would be trying to steal information.  When I tried calling back, got a message in English allowing me to enter my number to remove from the list.

Message when I called back was it was a TRAVEL RELATED call, if we wish to be removed from their database, press 1 now - I hanged up!  Telemarketer or something - they called my cell phone

Got a missed call from the number. This has been the fourth time she has called, so finally i decided to search the area code until i found this website. You guys have been so helpful, thank you!

Answered the call, it was a recording of a woman speaking in Spanish.  Automated robodialers are SO annoying.

just missed a call from this number this morning. didn't leave a message.

I answered and there was a recorded message in spanish. I don't speak spanish so I don't know what she said.

I picked up my cellphone and heard a Spanish speaking voice informing me that I had just won $1000. It instructed me to press (1) to be transfered to their prize claims center. I did, and a Spanish speaking woman answered the phone. After several minutes of witty banter I asked her out for cocktails. She said yes. Later that night we went back to my place, watched an old Fred Astaire movie on TV and fumbled around with each others undergarments. She promised me that next time we met she would let me go all the way, but when I called her again she just kept repeating that our relationship was "travel related" and that I should press (1) to be put on their do-not-call-list.

What gives? I'm sick and tired of companies that will go to almost any length to get me to buy timeshares or some other useless product. I wish they would QUIT calling me, although I did appreciate the couch session with Maria. She was "muey calliente!"

I just got a call from this #. I called back and asked for Maria. nobody knew a Maria.  It is a time share seller. So I will consider this call and Alvin's post entertaining but still a waste of time.
