Got a recorded call from 509-383-4536 today 6am pacific time. Claim to be the IRS and that a fraudulent claim would be filed.

Used my maiden name, called my parents stating they are the IRS and wanted to arrest me. Threatened to arrest my mom unless she paid the ~$1,500.00 over the phone that they claimed I owed.  When she refused they said they were going to send two people to arrest her.

They claimed to be from the IRS and said that a warrant was issued for my arrest.

Got an automated call from 509-383-4536. Stating that they were with the IRS. The IRS does not call you. They send letters.

I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize.  So, this phone caller left a voice mail which seemed to be a robotic type call.  It claimed to have issued a warrant for my arrest and did not specify why and requested to call them back.  What kind of idiot do these people think I am.  This is obviously a scam trying to get money from me and my family, but it will not work and I hope these [***] are stopped by the authorities.

Received a call from 509-383-4536 stating they were from IRS - robot stated that I had a case with them - and if I did not call them and take care of it - that they would issue a warrant for my arrest!  I had to laugh!  There is no reason for that and IRS does not issue warrants - so I knew it was a fraudster - so I called back and asked them what company this was - and a man with a very heavy Indian accent said it was the IRS...  I further asked what State they were in - and he said "the United States"  at this point - I am laughing my head off...  and told him that he sounded like he was committing fraud - and I would report him to the FTC - which I did...  Well - the guy immediately hung up!  This is ridiculous!  I wonder how many people are falling for this scam!

And to make your foolish story better, you should have included that after they arrested you, they tortured you, until the money you 'owed' was paid.

The IRS doesn't call you. They use this old school thing called postal mail.
