This is a scam.  Caller claims to be Mike Brown, IRS Revenue Officer but does not provide a case number.  Always ask caller for IRS Employee Number.  IRS employees will provide the number immediately.  These callers refuse to provide ID numbers and claim to be from "Washington State" branch office.  All have Western Indian accents.  They claim they have a non-billable warrant for your arrest and state you have 5 criminal allegations against you.  You demand payment over the phone or your will be arrested.  The IRS NEVER requests a credit card or wire transfer over the phone.  The caller ID does list the actual IRS' main number of 800-829-1040. Do not give out any personal information, do not verify any of your information and do not pay them!

voice on message sounds  middle eastern. Says name is Ron Smith.  caller ID is  the IRS phone # .  Ron Smith says to Call 509 473-0827.  Dont call it is a scam !!  Report to the IRS

Message from Brian Smith. Thick accent, demanding I call back to address IRS tax fraud or I'll be reported the next day. (reported by the IRS to.... the IRS, I assume?)
