Recorded message said "We have been trying to reach you. The IRS is filing a lawsuit against you.  Please call our dept at 509-492-5018. I didn't bother.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

same thing they are going after my 75 year old mother in law..they called the wrong women! LOL!!!

We received a call from this number stating there was a lawsuit against our daughter for taxes from 2009 -2013.

same problem, said that if I didn't pay I was going to have a warrant issued against me.

Same problem on this number said I owe 2009 to 2013 $4,696.50 I have to pay or warrant of arrest will send it to me

Said I owe tax money pay or warrant of arrest we be send out

They have called me several times,it's the same problem as the others... The IRS is filing a lawsuit against me for taxes...

Call received 9:59am stating IRS filing lawsuit. Must call about case (no case #) to 509-492-5018. I do not have caller id on landline but presume call came from this number since left to return call. The msg was garbled but got number just fine.

This is a scam.  Ignore the call.  Do NOT send them money.  The real IRS writes letters.  It does not call.

I received a message from 509-492-5018 on my home phone.  I called the number from work and got my lawyer on the phone and the person hung up.  My lawyer said it was a scam and to call the Person County Sheriff's department and report the number.  I did a three way call to the number with the Sheriff's department on the line.  The person that picked up the phone said they do not take third party calls that I needed to hang up.  I said I had the Sheriff's department on the line and the woman said I was not cooperating and that I would be arrested in 45 minutes.  The Sheriff go on the line and told them to stop harassing people.  The call was recorded by the Sheriff's department in Roxboro, North Carolina.

Received a telephone call at my home from this company who stated that I owed money to the IRS  (which I do have a minimal balance owed from last year) and if I didn’t send money immediately owed to the IRS immediately to them, that a warrant would be issued for my arrest, I would be arrested in 2 hours, held without bail for 48 hours, deported to Washington D.C., have a fine of $75,000, would be a convict, and lose my home. If I was to ask anyone (family, friends, etc.) for assistance, and disclose this discussion and the reason for the money to anyone, contact an attorney, etc., I would be arrested in 2 hours. I was told to call whomever I needed to borrow the money from on my cell phone immediately while they waited on my home phone, and if I disconnected or ended the phone call with them, a warrant would again be immediately issued for my arrest. The caller stated that he had talked to elderly women before, and that I was acting “like an old woman” and I needed to step up and be a man.

I called the IRS and they said this is a SCAM they are aware of. They do not make phone calls as such as this, nor threaten people verbally. The IRS person I spoke with said she had a co-worker that received the same phone call, and employees that work for the IRS cannot be employed if they owe any back taxes.

Sure, the I.R.S. is calling to tell me that they're suing me. Called from "WASHINGTON".....STATE.
I really want to call these fools and play along. And then tell them where to stick their lawsuit.

Fraudulent "IRS" call.  We need to track this person, or these people down.

got a call from the "IRS" its a washington #, do not call this number. the IRS would not call to threaten with a law suit, they send letters.
