Recorded message stating "the IRS is filing lawsuit against you." Let's dissect this:

1. The IRS doesn't work that way, with vague, canned messages utilizing a speech synthesizer urging people to call some random number in Eastern Washington state.

2. I'm not, nor have I ever been, in arrears with the IRS.

Shows up as from Walla Walla, Washington. Called twice so far today, and the message left was truncated. It was a computerized voice, just leaving a number with no company name or anything helpful like that at all. I googled the number and one of the searches said it was for a company called Qwest Corporation, but the number listed for that company is different than this one. Another source said it was a wireless caller.

I got the same thing today.  I called them probably about 15 times trying to figure out what the deal was until i finally assumed it was a scam.  busy signal about 5 times, and the rest I kept getting dropped.  One time they tried to give me an officer badge number right off the bat... and told me it was all being recorded.  so... i'd say the jury is in. scam.

they knew my address, or at least of the property i own, and my phone number, so that's a kinda messed up.  I'll prolly have to sick some anon's on them today.  great. another op to pass the time.

I got 3 calls today from the number. It came up as Washington and the last time they left a message about the IRS suing me it came up as Haiti.

Got a recording asking me to call the number as you stated. Call from Walla Walla, Washington.

Twice a call came in from 509 524 8027 stating that I am in debt with the IRS to call back.  It was a recorded call.
In the past, at 12 times , the same number has called with the same message.

Got the same thing twice in 10 minutes.  This has happened several times before with other numbers. It's a scam.

Received a call with a canned message stating they were with the IRS, this is a scam

They left message saying they are the IRS and there is a lawsuit against us.  I called the number back and the person on other end was saying GOO FOO and laughing.  I told them I would be calling authorities and he said don't do that.

Just got a message from this number that says" this is the irs and we are filing law suit against you"!

An Asian guy told me I was being sued by the irs  and an arrest warrant has been filed and with in 2 hours if I don't comply my local sheriff will be at my door to arrest me and detain me for 48 hours then they will sieze my home and belongings and fine me 75.000 and serve 5 years in prison!  -I AM PISSED  OFF ABOUT THIS AND WANT THEM CAUGHT!!!

The problem is he is in Asia.

Call blocker might be of some help.  Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd.  Or where there is no caller ID.  There’s  no way to stop the calls from being initiated.
