Received call today... Said IRS was filing a lawsuit against us... call number... I haven't called yet

I received this call for the 2nd time scam!!!!!

Just got a phone call saying there the irs and filling a lawsuit, when I asked for name and number he guy hung up. I called the irs report scam number and now waiting to here from them.

V/M on home - called back on a mobile phone and asked who was calling and could I speak to a supervisor, while he asked me to hold the same number popped up on the mobile phone I was calling from.  When confronted the caller he told me I could hang up now.

same thing, message left on my recorder.

Same thing. IRS lawsuit.  I figured it was a scam.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

recieved a call from this phone number stated the irs was filing a lawsuit against me , press 1 now to speak to a live person etc etc , I did not try to phone the company back , this is the 2nd time I have recieved a call of this nature

Said they where IRS an had a warrant on me. When confronting them they hung up.

i called them back just to see what would happen its really funny to see them try to scam people

Called me saying I owe money to irs or I will be arrested kept calling them back to ask information they hang up on me

They are out of India.  They haven't a clue about the US Judicial process.  It is a federal crime to impersonate a federal official. It is also fraud and wire fraud.  They can also be prosecuted under RICO and Continuing criminal enterprise.

Government needs to pluck these people out of India and try them here.  Otherwise the scans will continue.
