Total BS/ irs threatening to sue me. IRS only contacts people by post. Total scam did not answer it. Do not be fooled.

Just had a call from 5095887573.  Yep, total BS.

Call appeared on caller ID as "unavailable." Left voice message saying this was the last time the IRS would call before suing me. I was to call the 509 number to find out what I needed to do. Total BS. IRS will never call.

Caller ID did not identify a number. Voice message saying this was the final notes the IRS would call before suing me. I need to call the 509-588-7573 number to find out what I needed to do.

Received a call today from this number with the exact same message that others have indicated above. "This is the IRS. This is the final time for contact regarding the lawsuit against you. " Sounded like complete BS so I went to web to investigate. Will not be returning call. Thanks for the validation!

Apparently I am also being notified before being sued by the IRS. Thank you scammers for increasing my stress and anxiety when it is already at its peak.

Just received same call. They have been trying to get ahold of me. IRS, this is my final call. Tried the number-busy signal. Something needs to be done to stop these people! Can't even block the call with unknown number.

received a message on phone voice mail telling me I was being sued, last time they would contact me and to call 509-588-7573. I did not call of course this is a scam, the IRS only contacts you through mail. Be careful as there are so many scams out there these days.

My daughter told me to call this number it was important, so I called them from work and lost 20 minutes of productivity and gained 20 minutes of stress.   What a scam!  I wish I researched the number first.

Same exact wording as everyone else has reported,  I think we are smarter than they are.

Same call... I have a lot of different people trying to sue me. ... Fun none of them ever call from a valid phone # LOL IRS trying to sue me. This is laughable

I have received a few calls from this number.  They left a messAGE ON MY ANSWERING MACHINE  that this was the last time they were going to call me to let me know that the IRS has a lawsuit against me.  These people must think we are stupid.  First of all, all government calls show on your caller I.D.  Second, the IRS sends you a letter through the post office if there is a problem.  Total scam.  If you see this phone # on your caller ID, just do not answer the phone.

Fake irs call

Don't believe caller ID, either. Lately, they've found a way for whatever agency they claim to represent shows up on your caller ID.

This call has been coming in everyday for about a week,sometimes 2-3 times a day. Finally left a message stating the IRS is trying to contact us due to an upcoming lawsuit against us. Such [***],why would the IRS not have an 800 number. never going to call them back. But sure wish we could find a way to stop it all.

As soon as I heard the "accent" of the IRS caller, I knew it was a scam.  But, I decided to play the game.  I first spoke with Jack Williams and was informed I owe the government $3,986.70 in back taxes from 2008 to 2013.  I was then transferred to Ray Jackson who supposedly was to instruct me on how to pay the debt.  I immediately told Ray I would write a check and mail it the next day.  I asked for the address to mail the check.  He said I could not mail a check.  So I told him I was going to the IRS the next morning to pay the debt in full.  He said I can't do that either.  He wanted a cell phone number.  I told him I don't have a cell phone. He asked me where is the nearest Walmart so I could buy a phone.  I told him I don't use cell phones.  I told him I have $50,000 buried in my yard and that I would take out the $3,986.70 and write a check.  Once again, he said I needed a cell phone.  I then proceeded to tell him that I was recording the entire conversation and that I would go to the IRS office the next morning and pay my debt.  He had no problem in me recording the conversation.  He said he was going to send his sheriffs to arrest me and that I would lose my home and property.  I told him:  "Fine.  Just send the sheriffs over; I'll have my gun ready."  He then hung up!

Received a call from this number saying that this was my last chance to contact them before the IRS sued me. Also received the same call four yimes on 2/24/16 from 3479035896.
