Curious, the IRS doesn't call unless they are responding to a call initiated by the tax payer. And if the IRS was really calling, I bet they wouldn't have UNKNOWN NAME.

Try real hard, now! - JFoxI got the same call: "Hello. We are trying to reach you. This is a final notice from the IRS (Internal Revenue Service). We are filing a lawsuit against you. Call 509-643-4315" and repeated the number. I know the IRS only corresponds US Mail. I looked up the number and it is a land line in the state of Washington. I filed a scam notice with the Ohio Attorney General's office. The message does not ask for a person by name. I do not know who the caller is because it says "Unknown Name 1" on my caller id. I don't know how they are trying to scam.
- Caller: Unknown Name 1
- JimSame ol same ol. Gonna sue gonna throw me in jail, oh well.

- Zooeyjust gut the same message stating there's a law suit being filed under my name, but they did not say who the call was for. Tried calling the number back several times and got the message that the phone number is disconnected.
