call stating that a law suit is being filed against me by the irs

Just got the same message Sylvia and I don't owe the irs anything my taxes were filled and paid on time has to be a scam

I just got a call from this number stating that the IRS was filing a law suit aganist me and I should call this number. What a crock! This is a number in Yakima County, Washington with Sprint Communications Company, L.P. Sunnyside, Washington. Level 3 communications line.

I got the same thing today! The man was harassing me, saying I had to pay almost $6K for taxes from 2008-2013. He then said he'd take $1K but I had to stay on the phone with him while I went to the bank and got a money order. Every time I asked him to mail me prove of what I owe, he ignored it and kept saying if I didn't pay an officer was coming to arrest me today. Psychos!!!

Received two calls from this # today telling me the IRS is trying to contact us for fraudulent taxes owed.  Another scam attempt!!! I have now blocked this # and hopefully not receive any more messages.

These called me this morning TWICE while today is the day my dad is having surgery and for them to try to make me think I was getting a lawsuit filled against me from the IRS was not cool.

I got the same message and 3 hours ago.  Total scam

Got two calls from this number today. Since voice message system didn't record all I only got parts. Appreciate notes others left here.Fragments were similar though. "Case file..." And "against you."

Good advice to ignore caller.

The same as everyone else..I told them I will wait for IRS to contact me by mail... Then he went on to say it was for my disable son!! Ha!!! Never has filed and besides that, its of clues, how they answered the phone AND could hardly understand their ENGLISH!!!!!

New number, old IRS scam.  Sue me, you [***]!

I got the SCAM message too.  Never had a problem with the IRS, why should it start now?

The same as all the rest about taxes and when I started questioning Mr.Ray badge # I R M he hung up on me.

They have called 3 times with the same thing.  IRS doing a law suite against me.  I need to pay $3,814 immediately or they will have the police come.  I informed him to let them come over, I invite them in for lemonade.  Most are my friends anyway.  Keep them on the phone for 10 minutes asking for his supervisor so I could report them to the Attorney Generals Office.

Same IRS lawsuit scam.  They called twice Friday and twice todat. I could no longer resist. I called the number they left back and when they answered, in my absolute loudest voice I screamed a string of four letter words and names and tokd them not to call here anymore and hung up.  Now I've blocked their number from my phone!

I just got a call, the IRS is suing me.

Keep getting the calls with someone that can hardly speak English and it reads from a local street in our town.  Said was from the IRS and said that we owed money.  Wife has kept on hanging up on them and I know that there are plenty of other people that are getting scammed and are paying at least a portion of what they are requesting.  Need to take this to the FBI.

I am continuely getting calls from this number.  The one time I actually took the time to call back, I was forwarded to a woman who could barely speak English telling me I was going to be arrested and I had been served at my house and needed to pay my debt.  When I aggressively argued with her telling her she's full of crap becuase I haven't heard from anyone and no one has been to my house, she got irate with me.  I then HUNG UP ON HER!  I'm still getting those calls!!!  MAKE IT STOP!!

3 calls today threatening it's lawsuit .

Oh this one is a special kind of stupid. Didn't answer got a voicemail on each of the 6 calls now since 2:00pm today... all saying "you are being sued by the IRS".....etc.  ID states call comes from ," Sunnyside WA"   Never had this call before. This kind of call scares people. We pay our taxes and have no reason for any trouble with IRS.  I am trying real hard to keep a civil tongue about this particular call.

We received 3 messages today so I finally called just to see if I'd get a live person. It was a foreign man named Alex Cooper (no offense, but sounded nothing like an Alex LOL) badge #36980 - said we owed $4889 from 2005-2014 taxes, I told him I have received a REFUND the last 10 years, I never owed anything. He kept rambling on and on about the lawsuit, I got so sick of him I hung up, but not after I told him I was checking with my friend who actually works for the IRS. WHAT A JOKE AND WHAT A SCAM, FEEL SORRY FOR THOSE WHO WOULD BE VICTIMIZED BY THESE IDIOTS!
