A scam saying they are from the irs

Received two calls from this number and another call from the other scam number they are using.

Said they are calling on behalf of the IRS.... Robocall for sure..

I've received phone calls from 509-790-0592 leaving voicemails that are automated claiming to be IRS and also from 509-492-3664 also claiming to be IRS. It says Washington on the caller ID and they've programmed the number to show the Washington area code. The IRS only contacts you by mail so they'll have a paper trail. Will the phone calls ever stop?

Received call from 509-790-0592.   Returned call.   Guy who answered had thick Indian accent.  Was in a boiler room based on background voices of other scammers.  Wanted $6923 for 5 years of under payment.  Lots of legal b.s. and going to go to prison and take drivers license and other b.s..   Said he was from IRS.  Told him a scam and hung up.

left a message with my mother to call back IRS about a lawsuit. Called them back 509-790-0592. Same heavy accent, asked if he could help me, I said no, can I help you and he hung up.

I just want you all to know. This number has been calling me and I called them back knowing it was a scam.I decided to play their game. After I blew him off the phone, he hung up. I kept calling back and letting their phone ring and ring (they have caller ID so they knew who was calling). They would not pick up. Finally, they got sick of me just ringing their phone and he answered. I told him to stop calling me. I told him I knew they were not the IRS. He said "f___ you". I had a few choice words for him. He then told me he was Taliban, Shite. Bunch of scam artists. They better not call me again.

I got a call from 509-790-0592. I didn't answer the phone because it's my old home number that I don't use any more. They left a message about being from the IRS. I knew it was B.S. but I tried to return the call from my cell phone and saw that the call came from Washington state.  The line was busy.  Somehow, I don't think you would get a busy signal if calling the real IRS.  Definitely a scam.

ITS A SCAM!! Claim they have a lawsuit against you. They have been leaving messages on my home phone for over a month with no number to call back.  Finally left one today so I called. It's a bunch of BULL S***. Dont give these people any of your info. I wouldn't so they just kept hanging up on me.

I did something similar... I called, let it ring and ring till they picked up... Told him to stop calling... he said "what number" I said dumb ass I know you can see the number STOP CALLING it and I am reporting you. He hung up.

They are claiming to be the I.R.S. They supposedly had an arrest out for me, because I owed over 3000 dollars. it is totally a scam. Please guys do not fall for this stuff!

Hi.  We just received a phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS.  He said that we had been negligent in paying our taxes from 2008-2013 and that we owed the IRS $5350. 73.  He gave his name as Brian Andrews and badge number as IRM195.  He threatened that if we didn't pay immediately, recourse was forfiture of all assets, something lien, and imprisonment within hours. (He had an Indian accent, and much of what he said was difficult to understand.)

He was calling from 1-509-790-0592.

When we told him that we had paid an accountant to do our taxes for the last several years and that we needed to consult with him, and that there were a number of scams out there and we did believe that his call was legitimate, my husband let him go.

When I called the number back, he just answered "hello," but no business name was given.  You could hear multiple calls going on in the background, so I'm sure this was a very active, and I fear profitable scam.  When I asked him his name, he repeated what we'd heard earlier.  When I asked him what his business was, he replied that it was trying to scam people.  Then when I asked him to repeat what he just said, he replied, " we try to scam people." And I hung up.

They are so rude, cursing at me. I told him to get a real job and stop scamming innocent people.

Someone's calling every single day for the past 3 weeks asking me to pay my tax return "I owe"
He was calling from 509-7900592.
How this thing can happen in our sweet country?

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
