irs called concerning lawsuit. daughter took message. called from 509-872-5408,is this a scam?

They called me 3 times today from 3 different numbers.  It's a scam. I block the number each time then they call me from a different one, leaving a different call back number each time. It's automated, and even the automated voice isn't speaking fully proper English.

IRS Scammer. Calls from different numbers.

They just called me. MACK SMITH IRS Badge #DB4012. Rude guy with an Indian accent got angry when I stubbornly fought him because I refused to pay up without proof. I told him that I refused to pay unless they told me which errors were found, he then accused me of not wanting to accept responsibility for MY mistakes.

Called from this number and another shortly after.
Wanted me to settle bogus IRS issue not identified for several thousand dollars.
These do not speak clear English but use American names.

Automated call saying it was my final notice and that the IRS was going to file a lawsuit against me.  To get more information I am suppose to call the exact same number that called me.  Definitely a bogus scam call.

someone called me from this # saying that I was being sued by the IRS.  When I returned the call, the person asked me my name, when I said 'what is this concerning"  they said shut up.,.....what is your name?  This is a scam!!

Criminal Scammer , pay no attention

Claimed they were IRS. Automated message with very poor English. Claimed "IRS has file lawsuit against you," Obvoius scam.

Yes received call from # 509 872 5408 saying IRs and I had a problem. Guy Answered and couldn't even speak English. Then I called them a f@45 face and told him never to call number again..
This world is crazy these people can scam people and the government or police wont even help..

Received a call from 509-872-5408 today and they left a message on the answering machine. IRS fake call stating we owe money.

I got a call from this  number today and 360 851 1347 the callers left a message saying the irs is filing a lawsuit against me and i should return the call right away to find out additional information ....Scammmmmmmmm

I received the same call today. This is a scam! A good friend of mine is an IRS field agent and I have turned it over to her. The IRS would send you a notice in the mail, not call you. Please do not send money!! Welcome to the new age of criminal intent! DH

Automated call received in Auburn, CA Thursday, 10/29 @ 1:58 pm saying "IRS is filing a lawsuit against you.  To get more information immediately call 509-872-5408."

The same message was left on my answering machine on 11/5/15 and when I tried to call the number back, it did not go through.  The number they left was the same that you listed above.  These people are awful to be worrying regular law abiding citizens as they go about their days...

The callers are VERY humorous INDIAN SCAMMERS, whose language is fully worth conversing with them. Most comedy shows on network television are not as entertaining!

Beware this a scam Google IRS phone scams they are using a spoof number   I got the same call reported and it is a scam no your rights they are in a diffent country. They called me saying it was my final notice lawsuit I called them back and all the red flags the gut with a accent said he was a officer read fake charges fake case number fake badge number than he told I owe 4k$and if I don't pay it the cops will be at my door red flag,he ask me if I had lawyer said it was from2008 told me he wanted me to go to the bank and he was going to stay on hold and than tell me where to send it red flag I told him I knew it was a scam he than said the cops will be here and cursed me out than call back from a diffent number changing the phone number. I report this to the cops and was told they been getting a lot off reports about this scam and more people should report them so others don't fall for them these people are in a call center in a diffent country looking for victims to scare into paying money to a IRS  the IRS will never call u  . The best thing do t answer or call the number back . Scam call
