the caller left a recorded message stating that the IRS had a lawsuit against me and for me to call that number

I have received 2 calls today from 509-872-5504 stating that the IRS has a lawsuit against me and to call that number. I call and no answer. What the heck is going on? If it was IRS they wouldn't call they would send a letter.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

We have received 3 calls today from 509-872-5504 telling us to call IRS right away that they are filing a lawsuit against...

I received 2 phone calls today also from this number on my home phone, I will not respond. The IRS would not contact people this way.

Threat calls to call them back regarding a lawsuit from irs what a joke!

Fake IRS lawsuit - maybe NSA call permanently disable them......

They have left three messages on 8-6-15 that the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me.  You can tell it is a computer generated message.  A real hoax.

I have received calls from this number, three times today.  I know the IRS would contact me by mail, I worked for H and R Block, and have seen the letters. Nice try!
