Received a call from telephone # 509-978-0593 stating the call was from the IRS and that a law suit was being filed against me.  It also said to call the above number for more info.

Same story with IRS filing a law suit..Never call them back. It is a scam!

Same thing..saying they were the IRS

Scammers pretending to be iris, iris doesn't call you, they send paperwork.  Person had a indian accent that's another red flag.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I have been receiving phone calls from this number 509-978-0593 saying that they are the Internal Revenue Service and IRS is filing a law suit against me and I need to call them immediately. When you try to identify the number on my smart phone appear as an unknown number. IRS contact you directly using a letter not calling you.

I too, received a call from this number early this morning stating the same thing. They are the IRS, we were going to be arrested, we owed money....blah, blah, blah. You'd think they'd know by now we all know this is a SCAM!

IRS SCAM number, do not call back. They say you have a lawsuit filed against you. Biggest scam going right now.

Said they were irs  and i was going to be arrested.  When I said the IRS mails letters they said be ready to get arrested  I am officer frank martin   what an idiot

Notice from IRS Internal Revenue service the reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 509-978-0593. I repeat the number 509-978-0593. Thank you

This caller said the call was from the IRS that they have a case against me.

The caller states that it was from the IRS saying that the IRS is going to ha case against me.

This caller called several times and did not mention any name.
Today left a message saying that the IRS have a case against me. I don't recall owing any money to the IRS.

I receive the same phone number 509 9 7 8 0 7 9 3 I've had about 7 calls from these people and I spoke to him one time and these people are crazy they scammers I got a sister that that works for a lawyer she's a paralegal and she said they calling her lawyer's office in saying this to his or her lawyer and so everybody remember this is a scam

Yeah I got this call today from"Frank Martin" saying I owed...sorry I pay my taxes. The accent gave it away.

Ive received several phone calls in August 2015 from 509-978-0593 (recorded message) with the same story of IRS filing a suit against me.
