Scammer, robocall about "claiming your business" or optimizing online presence.

I pressed the keys to be connected to a human because I was curious who is behind these things.
The guy on the other end said quickly "Hi this is <adn>, who am I speaking to?" He said his name quickly so I wouldn't be able to tell what he said.
"I'm sorry, I said, I didn't catch your name. Landon, you said?"
He hesitated. "Yeah. What's your name." He said it more as a statement than an inquiry.
Now was my turn to hesitate. Figured I might as well make stuff up too. "I'm Bill," I said emphatically. Before he could pitch me, I continued, "Hey where are you guys located?"
    "California," he replied flatly.
"California's a big place," I said, trying not to be sarcastic but failing.
"Yeah." He said. "Where is your business located?"
"Oh, we're in San Francisco," I told him. I don't own a business. "Anyway where is your business specifically?"
    "Orange." He replied flatly again.
"Orange?" I laughed a little. "Orange is a fruit. You mean Orange County?"
    "Yes."
"Oh, OK. What's your address down there?" I asked, going in for the kill.
"Our address is --" then the line went dead. Of course it's not gonna be that easy to get a scammer to reveal their location. Why are police out there brutalizing innocent people instead of hunting down these jerks who are actually doing some damage? There's plenty of _real_ police work to be done, but instead you get idiots writing parking tickets and action rolling at pool parties.

Friday, 1:47 pm Received a call from this number, I didn't answer, they left no message.   A couple days ago, I was researching the "mylife.com" webpage because I keep getting emails from them too.  I suspect they may be related, but who knows ever for sure.

This call comes out of El Sobrante, CA which is a town about 15 miles north of San Franicso. I hit all the numbers to reach a live person and the minute I did, said this number is on the do-not-call registry and of course, they disconnected.

A scam claiming to be from Google, they hang up as soon as you start asking questions.

They identified themselves to me as Local SEO Services in Tustin, CA.

Because this call is fraudulent, file a complaint with the FCC here: https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=39744

My experience with this number was very similar to Steve's. I was called and heard the robot message. This time, I stayed on the line just so I can tell these jokers to stop calling me. They've been calling my number about 10x a week and I'm tired of this [***]. So, after sitting through the robot message I got through to a guy who asked me my name. After giving it, I asked what his company name is. He replied that he's an approved data collector for Google. I said, "sure, but what are you called? What's your business name?" at which the line went dead. These [***] should be found and prosecuted for ignoring do-not-call requests.

    510-275-0120 Caller ID, No name

I believe they got my number from an ad on CL.  Because I have a google number that disquise my landline number.

It was an unidentified number so I let the answering machine to pick up, they left no msg.  I was curious and called back, there was an automated response that said "Press one if you do not want to receive calls from this number."  So I pressed one.. Hope it works.  There was no info on who they were or to speak to a live person.

Then I received a call seconds after that call and it was by this number: 510-962-9574, Caller Id "California Call"  Called them back 3x and the line had a busy tone.  Could be related to the top Caller.

So, I reported both numbers to the DoNotCall.Gov number at 1-888-382-1222 for their number to be blocked and to be investigated.
