called me from a local number so I answered and the person had a thick accent so hard to understand but I got something about credit card debt. I told her off since I'm on the do not call list. She said she was sorry and I hung up. I smell a phishing expedition.

Hang-up call.  Dead air.  Illegal; we're on DoNotCall.  At least we got no stupid scam pitches.

I answered because it was a local number but hung up quickly when I heard the dead air.

Got dead air, hung up within 30 seconds.

Ditto...  got dead air and I hung up.   Received 2 calls from this number this week.   I am also on the DoNotCall list.

I get a call from this number every day.  They hang up after 2 or 3 rings, even before the answering machine kicks in.  WHO checks up on these jerks from this website?

Caller ID said "El Sobrante/Pinole, CA" answered and it was a person with a thick accent and poor line quality, said he was calling from Whittaker and Combs (?) and then the line went dead.

No message.

I received a call today also asking for me by name and then identifying a home alarm system. He asked if I had an alarm system in my home and I hung up. He also had a heavy accent. My neighbor just down the street also received a call from the same number earlier today. Our neighborhood has reported several home break-ins in the last month. If you get a call from this number report it to the police department.

Some has been calling me from this number. They never leave a message. Today I called back, a guy answered and said that he did not call. I told him never to call again.

Yes, I just got a call at 5:30p.m.  He answered "Hello - o" one time and did not make any noise again!  Suspicious!!
