Firelite - 8 Dec 2007I am getting calls from this number twice a day around 10:03 Am in the morning and also around 5:45 PM in the evening. Every day it comes and If I pickup it got disconnected and if I leave it to VM no voicemail are left. Most annoying call.

Police Dept. I do not know if it is legitimate or not. Before I caught on, and answered the phone, I told them I do not give money over the phone so they sent something to me in the mail. This, I think, is an agency which gets a certain percentage of any contributions that are made, thus their persistence. I have learned to ignore ANY call showing any ID or number or name I do not recognize; or "unavailable", or "out of area", "private caller". 99% of these callers do not leave a message. If someone really wants to speak with me, they will leave a message and I can then determine if it is someone with whom I want to speak. Some days and nights, I just turn off the ringer and respond to calls only if a message is left. I now receive calls even on Sundays.

EH - 15 Sep 2007Just received call @ 7 pm, but no one left message. You would think if it was an emergency that they would. Getting a phone call from some place that says 'police' and then at this time of night worried me as I do have family in that area code. I think I received a call from this place before and it was for a fundraiser. I don't think they need to call people like that to raise money.
