Gentleman Jim? - 25 Feb 2008510 373 3863? I called them back and went to the phone directory. Typed in a few numbers, then paged the first woman I could find and absolutely SPEWED profanities. I hope I made her day at her scuz-ball job. Sorry, but in my opinion it's OK to be brutal with telemarketers who illegally call me. Don't think she doesn't know what her company does for a living. And to think, some people pay money to talk dirty over the phone. Ha!

mark - 13 Mar 2008are you on the federal "do not call" list?, if not it's not illegal for them to call you. if you had any sense you wouldnt have wasted your time calling them back. Instead just ignore the call all together if you don't know who it is. Maybe you consider telemarketers low-lifes but its just a job like being a cop or a parking meter maid.

WHAT??? A Cop? A meter maid??? Are you nuts? It is nothing like being a cop (which covers meter maids by the way). Cops investigate and act on crimes.
Telemarketer are more like termites, eating away at peoples' time. It is a discusting job, and only a low life person who has little moral code would do it for a living.
Get out the Raid and spray yourself.

He said he was calling for Encore System and David Davison is scheduled to be in my area tomorrow and was giving me a heads up he was stopping by so I wouldn't be surprised. First off the number they called was home and the caller thought he was calling my office. This makes me very suspicious. I received a call from this "company" about 6 onths ago saying there was a change in my Visa processing policy and I need to talk with them. When I contacted MY compnay they reported they did not intiate the call. Encore is just out telemarketing and fishing for business.

They claimed that they are my credit card processor and that they need to come by to investigate overcharge claims on my account. They said that they will need to get into my machines to investigate and will drop by tomorrow to do so.
1st, I don't know who this person is or what company he claims to be with but I know I don't process with them.
2nd, NO CREDIT CARD COMPANY comes out to your place to "investigate" charges... common sense people...
3rd, I have called to local police and FEC and everyone I can think of to report this. Yes, it is a crime... these guys are trying to steal information from my account... so, I'll have a surprise for them when they show up

Kim - 19 Sep 2007Got this call at work. They asked to speak to owner. The owner came into the office asking if there was a phone number on the caller ID. It seems there was static on the line and they thought he hung up, but he was still listening as they used foul language, calling him names.

Andy - 28 Sep 2007Telemarketer who ignores the DO NOT CALL list and also ignores requests to be removed from their call list. They have called here close to 100 times over the past 3 months. I just filed a complaint at donotcall.gov and will let those jerks know the next time they call (which should be before lunch time)
