Received hang up in voicemail.  Number blocked.

Picked up the phone and said Hello - but no one on the other end. Maybe calling from Mars but their line got mixed up!

Caller ID said "UNKNOWN NAME," always a red flag. A live person asked for my wife by name, claimed to be a pollster for Medi-Cal reform.

Unwanted annoying call

Just got a call from this number...said Fremont and the number on the caller ID.  So now there is a new number to block based on the calls received in the last two days.  Why don't these clowns STOP?

Could hear someone on the other end but they just sat there, then hung up.  Tried calling back and got nothing.  Need to block

Woman asked for me by name, believe she said she was calling for the Healthcare Research Center (or something like that) then asked something like if I was still (hmmm...) working in a hospital/acute care setting (hmm...my answer--no). Said that would mean the only other question would be where I (and I think other members of my household?) go to get my healthcare. I declined to answer and ended the call. The person couldn't tell me how the list was generated. Phishing? Political survey? Other research? A recent (unpaid version) search on myself suggested someone may be using my license to work at a medical facility near me. Haven't had a chance to follow up yet. Call related to that or not? Don't know... List generated from state licensing or national certifying boards? Some other source? Would be interested to know if any of this matches anyone else. They also called yesterday just after 4pm, but after responding to my Hello with a Hello, the guy seemed to be confused and hung up on me.
