caller said i am not in trouble but that someone obtained my social & wanted to verify some things with me, but phone would cut out when telling me where they were from and very broken english. told me that there are all these charges against me because someone stole my identity. didn't i get the letters in the mail? no i didn't. i didn't have a hotmail account ever so i knew right there it was fake and i also accused them of being a fraud company. they yelled at me and hung up on me.

I am getting repeatedly harassed by this number. They leave me messages on my answering machine all hours. They identify themselves as the National Bureau of Crime Investigation. When they leave a message you can barely make out the part of a warrent issued for arrest and if you do not respond that you will be facing serious trouble. The message is always left by the same lady named "Arrion" with her broken english. I have been getting strange calls from all sorts of different numbers saying I'm being sued or am under investigation. These phone calls have left me in tears so my husband started to take the calls and at first they would just hang up on him. He  then started to act as my attorney and and he asked that documentation with all charges being pressed against me to be mailed via standard mail on company letterhead to our address and was told no they would email it only. How can we find out who these people really are? If they are ligit I don't want to be in any sort of trouble, but I have a lot of stuff going on right now and this is becoming a nightmare.

THIS IS A SCAM, Do not give these ppl any personal information, if you have had any payday loan this is how they are getting your information. I have just informed them my lawyer will be contacting them and ask them all of their business information and then they stop.

Oh I have been getting calls from 510-473-4959 on my cell phone for months from a person who claims his name is RICHARD MORGAN and is from National Bureau of Crime Investigation.  This person spoke extremely broken english with an India accent so I plain out told him that this was not his true name. He screamed at me telling me to shut up because someone has used my ID and commited fraud, therefore I am just as guilty as they are and someone will come and arrest me. This Richard person could not give any information as to the supposed fraud, so I hung up on him. He kept calling back until finally called my cell phone company to have the call blocked. A lot of good that did because he used a cell phone, 282-726-2524, and called back. This time he referred my to his in house attorney named Rosy. Some attorney she is, she speaks the same broken laugage with the same exact accent. She was not knowledgable, so I finally hung up.  Mad as anything, I called the 510-473-4959 number back and Rosy answered the phone. She would not give any additional information and told me to stop calling this number again.  This company is a fraud.

I just started getting these calls also.  Dialog so broken could not understand.  Made threats about investigaton, etc.  After reading these comments I see where everyone is coming from.  I intend to tell these people to send a certified letter on compay letterhead for any response.

I have just received the same phone call today regarding one of my family member's using my personal information and that there is a lawsuit against my family member.  This is the first time I have received this call so I hope they do not keep calling back. This needs to stop.  After reading about this SCAM sent from my brother, there has to be something someone can do to stop this.

I have been getting their calls for weeks. What are our options to find who they are and how we can report them?

I have been phone calls from "Richard Morgan" also.  Saying that I have an online pay day loan through the mother company Cash Advance America on the internet.  He has been calling and harassing myself and calling my daughters phone and threatening to have her arrested because she was my primary contact.  I have contacted my local police department and was told to go to the national no call website    www. donotcall.gov      also the local do not call registry and notify the state attorney general

They have my info saying i owe money i never got need help

Got a million calls from so called richard morgan. Saying I am being sued. For a loan I have no knowledge about . I got mad and said stop f ing calling me and hung up. He called back stating that he has all my info and started threatening me. I am now reporting to police.

I've been receiving the same types of calls from various people, but the latest message threatening to take legal action against me were from Jonathan Taylor (who had a very thick Indian accent as well). These people have made contact with since June 2011. I will report this incident to my State's Attorney General's office.

anyone having sprint phone service can send a text to that number cause sprint does text to landline it is all automated .you number wont show on the other side .i have been doing it and playing there little game

I also have been receiving harrassing phone calls from the number listed above.  Mine are also from a man speaking broken English.  He has been incredibly harrassing and wanted personal information from me, stating that I owed him money (which I did not).  I promptly followed up with my bank and they advised me that this is probably a scam.  DO NOT give your personal information to them.  I will do some homework to report them to everyone I can.  Everyone else should do the same.

I got my wallet stolen in March of this year when I was in Florida dealing with my father dying. I stopped at a BP station and I left my wallet there. They were Middleeastern and I had a hard time understanding them. I had $250 in cash, my drivers license, ss card, debit card and credit card. Now I am getting all kinds of calls from Middleeasterns with American names saying I am going to jail, and they have all of my info. I had to close my checking acct as they had that number. Then my bank calls, and tells me someone in Maine tried to charge $9.95 to a circus hotel....I am constantly harrassed...I have talked to so many people...do you have any advice?

I have been receiving calls from this person as well...  I ignored the calls for the first couple weeks...  Then I got fed up with the countless number of calls and voicemails each day, and at all hours of the day.  So I answered them today.  In a total of 14 minutes I had 25 calls...  With two voicemails.  I have asked them to prove that they are legitimate and to tell me why I have the warrant out on me, they are not professional at all.  They simple yell.  I have been transferred to two or three other people all of which speak the same broken English.  I had even told them that they were harassing me, and they got upset.  Lol!  And I have not found anything about the 'National bureau of crime investigation'.   They call me as the 510 number or as unknown.  My boyfriend is currently overseas and sometimes calls me as unknown so it has been upsetting me.  I have however found that if I answer and put the call on speaker and then mute my end they get father upset.  Lol!

I reported the scum to the FTC today after similar harassing calls.  I doubt the Feds will ever do anything to these thieves but it sure would be nice to see them face a few long nights in jail.   Call the FTC at 877-382-4357 or www.ftc.gov to report these losers.  Maybe if enough people call the FTC they may actually take some action.

Don't worry about these calls. They are fraud.  Just tell them let meet at a police station. They will stop calling you.

If you have applied for a payday loan. You will get this call. Don't do payday loan online and it is not worth it.  They charge $100 for every $300 loan that has to pay back in your next pay check.
