tried to say they were from pg&e and wanted information

Called my cell and asked me if I liked the demo on a home security system. Told him I didn't know what he was talking about and he said he'd be in my neighborhood soon for a demo. Knew my street as well.

Said they wanted to ask about my home security system

happened to me today also. called my cell phone. "home security" company.  don't give any information about your house or anything.  I've never inquired about a home security system.  

Called me about home security system, when I said that never took a demo or enquired about security system, started asking me about my security system.  Extremely fishy, they called me on my cell (even more concerning) had my address correct.  Is this a new kind of scam?

They called to sell home security system, they knew my street. Reported the number to police.

man with accent called looking for some who used to live here.

I have gotten a missed call from this number like 5 times in the last 4 days, I called it back and all I get is a voicemail for a "rich tinker", I bet he is a rich "thinker"!  But not getting my $!

Called cell, asked for info, hung up on them

they called me to and the same situation.  He knew my name on my cell phone. It was a security company. Told him not interested and they hung up.

This # bombarded our phone and not leaving messages. I made the mistake of answeribg it and a guy with an accent told me that they did a demo about their security system vs ours, and wanted a feedback.
We do not recall any security system demo and will never want one, we have a sign outside house about our security system and they still been bugging us. The guy hang up while I was talking!!!
I called them back, no one answering , so left a message to remove our phone # and the property address (they have it!!) in their system, or  we  will file a complaint for tresspassing, et al.

Scam alert - called me and knew my address and claimed to be from PG&E trying to extend a CARE program discount if I would give him more information.  Completely fishy, I said I am not interested and he just hung up.  I am a little worried he knew my address and cell number.

Called my cell phone and told me they had home automation demo at my home. They had my name and address. I told them i am not interested. Sounds like a scam..how do i report.

caller said he a pg&e rep want to enrolled me into care program. I told him no and he hung up

Fishy phone call about the "care" program

This number called my boyfriend's and my house number.  I do not know who they are.

Called me regarding the PG&E Care program, asked me for my salary, how many ppl in the house, do both you and spouse work and is your combined salary above 30K. Thats when I thought this was fishy... Then he hung up.

Yes same with me, called and said they were from PG&E

Same happened. Doesn't look like they are legitimate.

A man with very strong accent called yesterday , saying they were with PG&E, and would like to see if I was qualified to be placed on a CARE Program. When I asked for details, this guy hung up. Very rude. Fishy. Be aware!
