Just got a call from the same number. Tried to call it back and the code I entered is not correct. Another number to be blocked

Just got a call from this number.  Left no message.  I did try to call back from a different phone and the recording was that this number is disconnected or no longer in use.  Scammers.

Before this call, I got a text from Comerica Bank 'to update' my security info...  Deleted the text...

called cell phone and left no message.

Called twice on different days.  I ignored the first call, answered the 2nd time, they hung up immediately.  I called the number.  It was disconnected.  I know scammers can make the number show it was from anywhere.  I wont answer again, now sorry I did answer it, I know better.

Robocall with a recording offering another variant of the "Card Services" scam. They'll get you a way to pay off the debts at 0%! "Press "9" to talk to a representative." I let it run out.

Revived a call from this # today. Did not leave a msg.

Automated voice said consumer credit agency, no problem with my account but stay in line to receive an offer to lower my current rates.  Scam,no question there.

What's the point of me reporting the same phone call that dozens of others have already chimed in on?
What's anyone going to do? The do not call registry is a joke and we're left to fend for ourselves.
I got an app on my phone that I can block calls once they come through, but I still have to answer every time a new number from the same people rings and then I can block it. But again, they know this so they change the number about every two seconds. I wish the people responsible would have an itch they could never stop scratching.

The DO NOT CALL registry DOES NOT cover criminal scammers and extortionists.
Criminals are criminals because they don't follow the laws.
Kinda like the belief that banning guns will stop shootings. The criminals don't follow laws.

Rec'd call from 510-554-7793 with offer for help with Credit Card Services. I don't have any credit cards! JUST HANG UP!

Called back the same day and the recording said this number is not in service...???
