same here - when i call back, there are a bunch of dialtones played, then hangs up.  might be an automatic dial program of some kind (telemarketer scum!).

Basically if you are a cal alumni you should all remember
642, 643, 644.... you know.. the first 3 prefix numbers for a uc berkeley phone number. I too called back and someone did answer and I asked her if this was a cal phone banking thing... she said its from cal fund. So if you have no dinero, then don't pick up. Otherwise, donate what you can.

Only thing I dont appreciate is getting calls at 11:30pm given that I now live in Chicago and the time zones are different.

Seems like February is their primetime month to call us all! esp in the evenings.

got a call march 13. recently i joined the uc berkeley alumni association. i also got calls from -2133 and -0741.

Every night at a little after 9PM pacific time.
I volunteered to help out with the scholarship selection process because I love my school.
I don't appreciate getting harassed for money.

I spoke to their manager they will continue to call everyday for ten days unless you pick up and ask to be removed.  After the ten days you will cycle off of their list and they will try again in a few months. They have 55 different numbers they can call from. I'm on the east coast they called every day after 9pm.  You can call them at 5106438993 to complain during west coast business hours.
