I received another set of scam calls from this number.  Strong accent, guessing Indian, similar to ones I received a few months ago.  They are calling themselves American Credit Services.  Bull!!!  Luckily, I've been reading alot about this lately so I know all the tell tale signs.  What a crock.  Thankfully I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, but the scariest part is that they have alot of my personal information which was left in the message.  Just beware....

They are calling me on my cell and work numbers. I dont know what I can do to make them stop. I am beyond angry. They are scams!!!

Received several "legal matter" scam calls including threats regarding bogus legal action regarding a third party person that I know.  Sounds the same as reported by others who have commented.

What can be done to stop these scam calls?

This is a scam. Ask them to email or fax a copy of the "case" to you and DO NOT provide any further information. If they send you a copy of anything, you will notice it does not provide an original debtor name as required by law for all legitimate debt collectors. Tell them you are reporting them to local law enforcement and they will not call again.
