Just one more of those annoying calls telling me the warranty on my vehicle is about to expire.  Press 1 for a rep and press 2 to get off their list.  If you press 1, the rep asks for VIN # and other personal info about your vehicle.  I told him I was tired of them calling and he hung up.  If you call them, they give you the same press 1, press 2 spiel.  If you press 2, they ask for your 10-digit phone number.  I'm guessing this is not to get you off their list but to confirm your number.  I gave them our fax number.  If you press 1 when you call them, you never get a rep, just the message to hold on for the next available rep.

I had the same experience as Vickie from VA. I'm getting real tired of these calls. They also call from 567-251-8948.

This company and others call our place of business.  Call states my motor vehicle warranty is about to expire and this is the last notice I will receive.  Rather than pressing 2 to be removed from their list, I press 1 to speak with a Rep.  The Rep begins by asking for the motor vehicle make and model.  I ask "what vehicle is this for- you told me my warranty is about to expire."  They usually hang up.

Yep, I've been getting these calls 2-3 times a week for about 6 weeks now. I press "1" and they ask for my vehicle type, I ask them well that seems like something you should know seeing as you are calling me.. they hang up. Today 7-23-08 they called again, same routine. The messed up thing is that they are calling my cell phone. Obviously some type of fraud/scam. Have gotten the same message from these numbers:

Enter #2 to be removed from their list and then enter their phone number.  There is no way to get off the list so feed them their own number and let the computer call itself.  Play their game.

I get a call from 510-699-8048,567-251-8948,831-480-6326 all the time. The 510 # just called and I pressed 1 to talk to someone. I told the guy that I already had a warranty and he started to argue with me that I didn't. Than he told me he wasn't taking me off the list because I was rude to him. I tried to call back to speak to someone else and I waited on hold for 20 min. What the hell is going on with this company? How can I get them to stop calling?

EVERYONE....PLEASE, report this number and as much info you can get from the agent ( if you press 1). You may want to act like you want a warranty to collect the info. This practice is illegal and these companies are calling miilions of people and business's a day. The attorney generals' from several states are joining forces to stop these guys. The more info they have from people like us, the easier it will be for them to find, stop and punish them. Call your local attroney general with all the info you can. If it makes you feel more motivated, when they do get their hands on them , the fines will be astronomical. Company killing fines, possible jail time

I receive this call roughly once per week.  Same spiel as mentioned earlier in this thread: "your car warranty is about to expire", "final notice", etc. etc.

Last week they called again and I decided to press #1 .   After a short period on hold a female voice on the other end yelled "fag!" and then hung up.  I probably should be offended, but it's so ridiculous that I just laughed.

I'm guessing that the service that is placing the calls is not same company that you are actually connected with when you dial #1.  Probably it is an auto-dial service that is selling subscriptions to car insurance companies, and the calls are getting routed to subscribers in "round-robin" fashion.

7/29/08 9:20 E.T.   Warranty.    Same recorded message I've been getting from 714-607-5777.   In the first several calls I pressed 2; lately been trying to press 1, but never get an answer or contact.   Mine is a business number, and it's taken time out of my work day and I'm not sure how to resolve.  I believe there is a government website to lodge a complaint, but can't find it right now.  

This call didn't have PH Direct, but the 714 call did.

This warranty company continues to call even after selecting option 2 to be removed from the call list.  If you press option 1 some will answer and ask you for your vehicle information.  If you ask them not to call they say something rude and hang up on you.  This is crazy!  Why can't we do anything about this?

I continually get these calls on my direct line at work.  I just got another one from 510-599-8048.  I must get 4 or 5 of these calls per week.  Other numbers that have called for the same thing (expiring vehicle warranty) are 484-221-6079, 541-864-1492, and 954-734-8503.

Warratny call.  Nuisance!
